These comments are definitely more fun when we win than when we lose, but there are some interesting comments in this edition. Try to enjoy them in spite of the loss. I agree with Doc. This Celtics team feel like they are better than they are and feel like they can coast after getting a lead or like they can just turn it back on and they just aren't good enough to do that this season. Hopefully they will turn their attitude around because I like gathering these comments so much better when we win.

Our concern should be to reduce penetration from Rondo and don't let Big Baby get off on the inside like he has done in the past.

Our concern is getting healthy and then having the team play together long enough so we can get a really good run going after the all-star break. We're probably going to get killed by the C's right now.

Some people think Rondo is a punk (myself included). But if we had traded for Rondo, would he have been considered a scrappy Isiah Thomas 2.0?

I hope Sheed doesn't get booed. He deserves better than that.
I hate the Celtic's but I want Sheed to do well. I was always crazy about him and still miss him big time.

The thing about Sheed - if people boo him, he'll want to prove what type of player he is and this may actually be one of those five games he plants his butt in the paint for about 8 minutes and throws down 12 points while doing it.

With Sheed, it was just a question of how much he was slowing down and losing energy. I think for the most part, the fans and forumites still like him and wish him well. He had more character than some whole teams have.

I don't really miss anything about Rasheed. He long overstayed his welcome.

Garnett is out and Pierce is questionable. We might just keep this within 15.

Even without KG and PP this is going to be ugly.

The Pistons current starting frontline could be the worst in NBA history.

For whatever reason I think we have a shot at winning this one. Probably not though...

The officiating is unbelievable Pierce literally shoved JJ down for a “steal” earlier in the game.
I was pissed when Rasheed got away with a KG esque moving screen that would’ve gotten him an offensive foul, technical foul, and aggravated assault charge had he been wearing red, white, and blue.

Yeah, Stuckey is doing his best to give up as many points as he’s scored. Although, if we put Rondo on his ass on one of his drives, he might get a little skittish.

Well we learned one thing tonight Paul Pierce was as ugly in high school as he is now.

I bet you if we replaced Rip with a 2×4 with an angry face painted on it, we’d be tied right now.

Pierce is great at drawing contact. Sure helps when you can get calls just by flailing around a bit.

Why am I afraid that now that we’ve tied it, Boston will wake up and end up whooping us by 20?

I know I'm a bit biased here But until Rondo learns to make his free throws, I can’t think of him as a truly elite PG.

I know he looks pissed without any real prompting but Perkins seriously looks like he might murder someone right now. I am amused.

Boston ain’t winning another championship with their current attitude. Too much bitching and whining for my tastes. I think Sheed being there just makes it worse.

Boston is a one and done team

Their “championship swagger” is turning into arrogance. They need to remember that they’re NOT the defending champs and they have to re-prove that they’re the best in the league, not assume it. I know KG being out hurts but they just are way too confident for their own good.

Very satisfying win. Boston is indeed an unlikeable team, and I basically like ’Sheed.

Ah, its always nice to see the Pistons beat the Celtics. That way all my friends that are bandwagon fans can shut up about great the Celtics are considering that they don't even know who Red Auerbach is.

It's sad that this win came on the day when the team officially got put up for sale. I hope we’re not watching the final days of the Pistons in Detroit.

How ESPN’s NBA page and NBA.com mention nothing about the Pistons victory…I was at least expecting a “Boston falls or struggles or misses Garnett” heading…

Slumping greatest team on earth is racked with injuries and beats itself to not win against the pistons.

My wife is doing what I can only assume is a victory dance.
