One thing that struck me tonight was the fact that the Hawks fans were complaining as much about the officiating as the Celtics fans were. The officiating was truly bad and they missed calls both ways. But there is no denying that the flagrant call on Baby was questionable at best. And the fact that they were very quick to call 3 techs on the bench changed the momentum of the game. I know that the Celtics got away with some stuff, but so did the Hawks and that one sequence was what changed the game and it is a pity that officials can completely change the momentum of a game in that way. The Hawks are 3-0 vs the Celtics this season, but they haven't faced the real Celtics and believe me, when they do, the result is going to be completely different.

Watch Paul Pierce tonight. I don't even like the guy. He's a cry baby. He complains to the ref's all the time. Jsmoove could take lessons. Just watch tonight as a real pro works the officials.

The difference between Pierce whining and Smooves whining is Pierce looks like he is about to cry; and Smoove looks like his head is about to explode in anger. They both cry a lot but Pierce gets sympathy; Smoove attracts the refs wrath

Truth be told is that Pierce is starting to lose it. He is definitely a step slower.

Josh may need to go to Tyler Perry's studio's for actin lessons, lol

Watching Lebron makes me think that is where he went.

This will be tough for the Hawks. We just won this past Friday. It is too fresh in Celtics mind. Even with KG not playing, I think Celtics crowd will give their older smart players enugh energy to get them a win. Still, we match up well, and clearly can take his team on. JJ must make some shots to take pressure off our bigs.

What is this officiating? Joe gets hacked and no-call, then Crawford literally doesn't touch Pierce on the next possession outside the perimeter and gets whistled? Ouch.

I hate watching the Boston telecast, they are sooooo homerish. Very distracting, makes me hate Boston more.

This shows the difference in coaching abilities. Doc made adjustments. Guess who isn’t? I wasn’t expecting a win tonight because there is no way they let us beat them again. At least be competitive.

If I was Woody and I didn't know how to make half time adjustments I would excuse myself to go the restroom and watch the half time show where the they give all the things that should be changed to win the game. It’s like having an answer key on the screen.

It was Doc's dumb ass who flipped out with Boston up by 10 The refs were giving Boston the game in the 1st half. No reason for Doc to get angry. I was a legit call on that flagrant.

Sometimes I really think that Doc just likes to make a scene... …he looks like he loves being noticed.

I am never, EVER watching a game on Boston's telecast again. These idiots should be fired for their pathetic announcing. I will be watching the entire 4th quarter with the game on mute.

If it was reverse we would be complaining about the refs too. That being said...we took it to them and they just could not come back.

That wasn't a flagrant foul, but neither was the one called on Zaza in the 1st half. Pretty hypocritical to lose your mind over what was at least consistent (bad) officiating.

We own the Celts, but the Knicks are somehow the scourge of Atlanta

It's just my opinion that neither of the flagrants called were really flagrants, but I still remember watching the Pistons in the 80s and the Knicks in the 90s basically do that on every drive to the basket. If Zaza's was a flagrant, then Davis' definitely was, though

I think that's a fair way to look at it FW...in any case it was an absurd time to get three Ts and for the coach to get himself ejected. Watching Rivers go wild on the replay I just thought WOW.

You know come playoff time the color commentators will mention how they were missing KG in 2 games. If we could only be as lucky to have Tommy Heinsohn call all our games. LOL
