Watching the Cavs and Lakers play is pretty bizarre for me because I am cheering for both teams to lose. The ideal outcome would be for both teams to spontaneously combust on the court. I guess if I had to pick, I'd rather the Cavs win because although I don't like them and I really don't like LeBron, I do still like Delonte and they aren't quite as repulsive as the Fakers, who have absolutely nothing to like about them. Here is a fun look around the Fakers and Cavs boards during their game last night.

This is get back time. Being down 0-2 in the season series wouldn't be good coming down the stretch more than likely. I don't think either team will just pull away.

Well we were 0-2 to the Magic last year too. How did that turn out ?

I am pretty sure we'll lose, I would love to be wrong though. After the game Kobe will either decide to hand the torch to Lebron or he'll wait until June to hand it to him. Kobe will then bow to him and proclaim "Yes Lebron you are my KING."

What a ray of sunshine How bout if the lakers win and Kobe outscores lebron, no negativity for the rest of the road trip til they play the Celtics? U can go back to the negativity when they head to Boston.

I heard something on the radio that disturbed me. When Kobe got hit in the hand, it effected his shot. So all defenders need to do is smack Kobe's finger and he'll be ineffective all game.

No Mo and no Moon makes the Cavs very short on the bench

Last year, champions were born on this road trip, beating Cleveland and Boston with a 62 in there as well... Hopefully we can get that same kind of momentum this year.

Well said, this road trip was what set us up on our journey to the championship last season. If we can get close to what we did last season, we should come out of this in very good shape.

This will likely be a LA beat-down without Mo. Him against Fisher was our big match-up advantage.

I have to put this one on Phil. The offense has zero coherence. What the heck is Bynum doing out there? Why are everyone shooting off balance jumpshots? Why is Kobe shooting us out of the game(again)? This team played with no discipline in the second half and it's no surprise the Cavs won.

Does anyone notice we just don't have "it" right now and this season? The only one who does is Kobe. We were winning these games last year against top tier teams and we were playing a whole lot better. We had that hunger, than anger when we played. We don't have it.. Right now.

People can lie all they want about us being so stacked and lebron playing with scrubs,but to me those guys play hardnosed defense and he has 3 of the top 8 three point shooters in the league. This cavs team is deep and poised to make a strong run at our title.

I don't care what anybody says Pau is sucking from his back to back extended summers. I told guys here he would be hit and miss all season. Tonight.......it was miss.

Sometimes players need to lose to see what they need to fix. I understand how poorly Gasol played tonight. It just means the coaches have to get the team to watch tape and fix it.

You learn more from losses anyways. I expect Phil to completely dissect the Cavs if we were to meet them in the Finals.

I fear facing the CAVS in the final especially if they get HCA. But what worst is that I will STOP watching basketball if LeBron beat Kobe in the final and win a title. The only real asset the Lakers have is Bynum. And the way he's been playing of late, his value is going down faster and faster. I mean Shaq totally wasted him tonight. And Shaq is like 20 years older

Kobe is the only player on earth where he can shoot like crap on 30 attempts and still have people defend him. No, I don't put everything on Kobe, but his insistence to shoot the ball knowing his fingers are jammed has done damage to this team.

Oh well, looks like we'll be meeting up with the Cavs in the Finals, hopefully we can still get HCA... We're not playing nearly as well as we were to start the season

We're not as hungry (or good) this year, so home court will be necessary for us to repeat. IMO. That's especially true if we face the Cavs or Celtics.

Unfortunately in regards to the game, we're gonna have to hear Pau all night scream ARGHHHHHHHHH every single time he goes up with the shot...Oh, and please keep JJ away from Lamar... I've never seen a player get abused like Lamar did to JJ last year..

This one will be tough. Lakers are playing better ball lately and they will want to pay us back for the C-Mas day beatdown.

Laker fans will not be allowed to bring foam fingers into the arena.

The Christmas game can be written off as a fluke, but if the Cavs win again convincingly they have a case that they are the better team.

Kobe is hurting, so that changes the way the Lakers run their offense

Nah.....Phil and Kobe are both too stubborn to change the way the Triangle is run just because of injury. Kobe himself even said he'll still be just as aggressive, he doesn't want to give teams the advantage of thinking they can attack the Lakers differently. Besides his back is fine now, the index finger is still bothersome but it is what it is for him at the moment.

I've been consistent in the thoughts that the Celtics are a tougher matchup for us due to the interior defense and their PG's creative ability-- all of which the Lakers don't bring against this current Cavaliers outfit... In the past, sure, but not as of now..I don't see anything (and you and I have went back and forth on this when these two teams aren't playing) that suggests to me the Cavs cannot beat the Lakers come June...
