A Welcome and not-so-welcome-home for Sheed as the C's drop their 3rd straight game. C's had the 8 point edge coming out of halftime and seemed to be on their way to the W, however Rodney Stuckey's 27 points and 11 rebounds along with Charlie V's 19 points and Maxiells 12 off the bench helped secure the win 92-86 Pistons.

Both Pierce and Rondo lead Boston in scoring with 21 pts each. While Sheed added 16 along with 7 rebounds. Rondo was close to a triple-double in pts (21) rebs (8) and asts (7) adding 4 thefts and only 1 turnover. But any help Boston was looking for from the bench went unanswered with only 3 C's (Davis/House/TA) chipping in 4 points a piece. House did add 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
No excuses for the C's. Piatons played well, but are also feeling the pressure from injuries to Will Bynum (ankle), Tayshaun Prince (knee), and Ben Gordon (groin). Both Hamilton (illness) and Wilcox (back) did play, but were day-to-day. Not too mention the C's led by as many as 12, however it seems lately they cant hold the lead after halftime. It used to be the other way round didn't it? We'd get off to a slow start but finish out strong. KG can't come back too soon. And it would be nice to see Marquis Daniels when he returns. Until then Boston must find a way to win and close out games coming out of halftimes.
