It was a disappointing end to the season. But, I am proud of this Celtics' team. They never gave up and played 2 series on will, heart and grit alone. The Magic were healthy and the Celtics were injured and tired. Time to regroup, get healthy and come back and win it all again next season. Once again, most of the Magic threads involved complaining about the refs when actually, I thought the Magic got as many if not more breaks than the Celtics. Also, It was funny to read all the Hedo bashing in the beginning and all the posts about getting rid of him morph into hoping they could re-sign him as he came through for them in this game. Enjoy the final edition of Comments from the Other Side for this season. We'll get them next year! I have no doubt of that.

This is gonna be a war. I wouldn't be surprised if we had a player suspended for game 1 against Cleveland. But we will be there for game 1 against Cleveland.

This is Boston's 5th game 7 in the Garden in the last two years and they've won the previous 4. They obviously know how to win game 7s at home.
That said, records are made to be broken, and in those other games Boston was the better team and that just isn't the case this time.

I don't know which one will be more satisfying, watching Kevin Garnett walking back to the locker room with his head down in front of a stunned Boston crowd, or knowing all of the Cavs fanbase will be crapping there pants.

I really really want us to win this game, but my gut feeling just tells me we won't. I'm not saying we can't, but I just feel like Boston is gonna do just enough to pull this one out. I feel like the only way we can win is if we come out of the gates shooting lights out and build a 15-20 point lead by halftime. As much as I hate the Celtics, they are more experienced in these situations than us, and they have been successful in the past.

I don't and never have liked Boston and I can't wish for anything more than to beat them in the Garden.

People should remember that Javie headed the crew for the "non-moving clock" game in Detroit last season. I'm just sayin'.

Steve screw job Javie...Ive seen his BS before last year in Detroit. I'm not convinced that we will be getting the bad calls though. Boston may find that David Stern has turned on them and wants to promote Dwight to lebron status....uhhhh yeah right. I expect Pierce to get 17 free throws and the entire magic team to get 12. The only way we win is if we have a great 3 point shooting day.

The NBA is fixed no matter what you think. Expect LA to win and also for Boston to win. The reason for that is those teams make more revenue for the NBA then the Rockets and Magic will ever do. I love our Magic to death but you cannot beat David Stern when he forced these game 7's to make more money. We need a Miracle to advance...

Did a little bit of research and came up with some interesting statistics.

-In the regular season, Orlando was 5-0 when Steve Javie refereed a game of theirs.
-In the regular season, Orlando was 4-0 when Scott Foster refereed a game of theirs.
-In the regular season, Orlando was 2-1 when Derrick Stafford refereed a game of theirs, including a victory over Boston.
-In the lone loss with Stafford hosting, Orlando shot 30.4% from the field and committed 24 TO's against the Denver Nuggets.
-In the playoffs, Orlando is 1-0 when Steve Javie referees.
-In the playoffs, Orlando is 2-0 when Scott Foster referees.
-In the playoffs, Orlando is 1-0 when Derrick Stafford referees.

All in all, Orlando is 15-1 this season when any of these three are on the floor calling the game. Put them together and it may very well be a long night for Boston.

That was the WORST opening sequence I have seen. Especially for a game 7. Ha good luck getting the crowd involved.

Please tell me JJ's not starting. I think at this point, that even though he's played decent defense, that Allen is just off. Besides Lee's defense is better, and he's a better all around offensive player and JJ's shooting worse than Ray Allen.

Please beat the Celts. I'm getting tired of KG pointing to his watch and talking smack to the opposing team.

WOW Derrick Stafford is calling all the calls against the Magic and they have all been ticky tack fouls. That one on Dwight and now that one on Lee not to mention giving the ball to the C's when Perkins clearly tipped it out of bounce.

The bigs coach for the Celtics has turned Baby, Perkins and Powe all into better offensive players then Dwight.

The sad part is that their big man coach was Dwight's in his first year.

Pierce is the cheapest nba player...what a slimy guy...play the darn game man...lame

I have a bad feeling that LIKE ALMOST EVERY OTHER BOSTON GAME they will be allowed their usual "THUGGERY" in the 2nd half and they will pull away, I think Orlando will go into "jumpshot mode" and get burned while Boston will attack the paint and get every call. I"m guessing POS PIERCE gets no less than 8 FTA's in the 2nd half.

Pierce is the biggest flopping POS on any timea out there, he's worse than Ginobili. Dwight pulled up way before making contact.

Anyone see Alston shove Rondo, and Rondo wanting to go back at him.

The refs really ****Ed us over with the stupid calls on Turk and Dwight, our two most effective players so far...conspiracy?

What do you think these playoffs would be like if the refs actually called legitimately FAIR games?

The magic will lose this game because the refs will not allow the magic to win it.

How can they call these fouls against Orlando, but turn around and let Perkins shove Dwight in the back and let Rondo shove Rafer with no calls?

Anyone ever notice tha neither Perkins or Davis EVER get called for travelling on any of their spin moves (that start from the FT LINE and further out) that end up as layups?

Celtics are in the game due to the freethrow disparity, Orlando is simply out playing them.

I think the officiating has been pretty good. Dwight and Hedo are in foul trouble because they pick up stupid fouls.

Someone call Perkins for his BS under the ring. it's ridiculous he can get away with it for an entire series. He is all holds and pushes. I thought I saw Dwight just take a swing at him after that last rebound....

Perkins is a beast. The Celtics just robbed the grizzles for him.

Why is everyone FOR them? I just don't get it..they are a bullying team with a bunch of thugs. They have won one championship due to a good trade move that was kinda too good to be true
