I think the Celtics come out strong, however, making us all nervous for the majority of the game. Even though we took home-court, it feels like the pressure is on us after the disaster in Game 2.
I'll be there. I'm thinking of bringing a sign that says "NBA: Where 5 on 8 happens"
This is a bit over the top. The Magic had a 37 to 25 free throw advantage in the last game. Pierce got into foul trouble early which effectively took him out of the game. There's bad calls both ways. No one's favoring either team.
Our players should elbow them all night. Maybe they will even eject their players for it, like they did to Artest.
Win or at least hurt somebody

The NBA does not want Orlando to win so they won't.

#48 Scott Foster - Strangely enough, he was assigned to the game that Dwight was suspended for. He proceeded to T up Stan, and eject Hedo for headbutting Dalembert's elbow. Dalembert remained in the game after his sick display of hot man love.
After Rafer apologized..... Doc Rivers said he disagreed with the suspension......
House called him a coward, and that the punishment was justified.

It seems like the refs are a little tentative to call out Orlando this game. Orlando's bringing the effort and the refs are punishing the C's for screwing up. I love it!

It just always amazes me how quickly fans can turn on their teams. I don't remember seeing Celtics fans being that caustic toward the Celtics even during that 18 game losing streak a couple of years back. Magic fans are just brutal toward their team when they start to lose or play poorly. I just loved the Superman to Superdog pictures. These are definitely more fun to gather when we win!
The C's will seek revenge in game 2. If we continue the trend to shoot 3's all night long we don't stand a chance.
I'm getting greedy, I really want this game badly!!!
Magic win, this time they don't blow a big lead... En route to series sweep!
I predict a win by at least 10 points
There's no reason why we can't play the same way we did in the first half of game 1. I don't think the Celtics can guard any of our players.
I want the Magic to win, but it will definitely be 8 to 5 out on the court tomorrow. Expect Pierce to live at the line and Rondo to try and behead someone. The NBA can't have their beloved Celtics down 2-0.
Boston is gonna come out fast and furious, hopefully magic can match their energy.
Without KG and Powe they are a different team against us; they can't defend us as well nor can they bully us inside like they usually do
I say we go up by about 15 by half, they battle back to maybe 8 or 7, and we CLOSE them out this time.
Salvatore is one of those "egomaniac" refs... He usually sucks, but every now and then, he will surprise you. Eddie Rush is a mediocre ref, which makes him one of the better refs in the NBA.
Tom Washington hates us for some unknown reason.
Nowadays, I'm more worried when the magic start hitting their 3s or take a big lead than I am when they're trailing.

The Celtics sure stunk it up in that second quarter. But they played like we know they are capable of in the end of the 3rd and 4th. They lost the first game last series and pulled it out so not worried yet. They just need to remember that the game starts at the tip off, not after half time. It's always funny because both teams complain about the refs and really both teams have a case because there are missed calls and bad calls on both sides. Anyway, seeing that the Lakers lost makes it a lot better. Watching the Lakers lose is almost as good as seeing the Celtics win. Oddly, most Magic fans were more bothered by the Magic allowing the Celtics back in the game than were happy by the win.
We're gonna get the win. They're going to be worn out and still thinking about the Bulls while we are out on a mission with something to prove.
I say we win by 40
Magic lose game 1 by 10+ points
Rashard should be averaging 25 a game with Big Baby on him. He's faster, longer, more athletic. He won't have to deal with a high energy guy like Thaddeus Young in this series.
Rafer will fight rondo at some point He won't stand for what Rondo did to Rose. He's a vet who will not tolerate it.
Rondo is in for a rude awakening.

Don't count on Boston being tired or wounded. Everyone knows how important game 1 is. If we had won our game 1 we would have walked out of the first series in 5 or less. For Boston, they can't lose home court, they will come out tonight very pumped and will work very hard.
Anything can happen. We had our best and most convincing win against Philly without our best player. Them playing without KG doesn't mean much.
They are still very tough with Rondo, Allen and Pierce. All three are better players than who they are matched up against.
Just tackle Allen at the end of games.tackle.Otherwise hes gonna drop 3s on us
Get Perkins out of the game early... Go to Dwight early and often in the first and try to get Perkins into foul trouble... Perkins actually does a pretty good job at guarding Dwight.... After Perkins theres a whole lot of nothing...

We won, but all that's gonna be talked about is that we were up by 28, and the Mighty Celtics almost came back to win.
Veal did a very good job on Rashard. If Shard didn't get it in the block, he couldn't do anything against him. Hopefully BBD plays more minutes in Game 2.

Sorry I haven't been around to post much for the past week but I have had some kind of very nasty flu bug that had me down and out. Just now getting back on my feet. I have to say this for the Bulls fans, they sure do post alot in game threads. I pulled comments from 3 different threads that had anywhere from 70 to 147 pages. My favorite part is where they were very happy to see Scal come in and then a few minutes later were very happy to see him sit down. The graphic with the game going to 11 overtimes was pretty funny. I also had to chuckle at the last comment. I don't know how KG does it either. Enjoy the final installment of the Comments from the Bulls Boards.
Bulls will win.
I expect 8 OT's or else this game will be boring compared to the other 6.
I'm REALLY looking forward to a Bulls & Magic matchup Don't think Celts are going anywhere this year.
Celtics want to knock the Bulls out but, frankly, the Bulls aren't scared of the Celtics anymore. I still want to see Rondo get hard fouled.

Great! We showed that we are almost as good as Boston without Kevin Garnett.
Well, this came down to defense and once again, we couldn't get the necessary stops. This is what separates us from the Celtics. They can hunker down and put clamps on teams for extended stretches. Even if they're not flowing offensively, their defense keeps them in the game.
Perkins and Davis were pretty big boys that smash their way into rebounding positions that the Bulls were too skinny to push them out of.
We got smacked around by Big Baby Davis and Kendrick Perkins. That's worrisome. Big time worrisome
Well just think if KG was healthy this series would have been over 2 games ago.
If Garnett played, would Rondo have been so aggressive in the first few games? I doubt it. He killed us and kept the Celtics in this series. He allowed Boston to attack us at our weakest position defensively.
Kevin Garnett is not the same player he was 5 years ago, but the Celtic's "lesser players" still defer to him as if he was.
I just don't see Garnett providing anything more that they didn't get already from the guys who played. I really give Davis and Perkins credit. They stepped it up, big time.
My head hurts from the intensity. Honestly, I don't know how Kevin Garnett does it.
