The Celtics just signed Marbury and they said he might play against the Pacers tonight. Do you think this will destract to Celtics or do you think Marbury will do great because it is his debut?
I think signing marbury will hurt them more than it will help them. Pacers have a pretty good chance of winning this one, but we gotta cut down on turnovers.
Just had a 58" plasma installed above the mantle today... Plan on breaking it in with tonight's game. If it jinxes us, I'll obviously have no choice but to ditch the TV...
If the Pacers can pull off a win tonight... The playoff race could get even tighter!!
I have no desire to see a sub .500 team in the playoffs.

I have the Celtics announcers, who are hands down the worst announcers in sports history.
If we guard Ray Allen and don't leave him wide-open for 3s we'd be doing all right...
Attack Rondo and get him his 3rd foul. I'm not worried about Stephon, he won't be in good shape yet.
Watching Ray Allen run through those screens and nail the three was downright beautiful if you like the game of basketball.

Can't do anything by Big Baby (what a horrible nickname to have). We just need to score and get a couple stops (I sound like John Madden).
I HATE it when it's a close game and the other team scores when the shot clock goes off. Rondo doesn't want to shoot. We are begging him to, but he won't.
I hate that Celtics got starbury. He makes them that much tougher for that reason. He gives them a pg that can score. Wouldn't be surprised to see him on the floor at ends of games instead of rondo for that reason.
Marbury makes them scary good

Unless they are going with a different lineup than the one I had to go by, the Clips might as well forfeit now. This lineup could easily be beaten by 40 plus points. It's that laughable and unfortunate.
I would like to see us just play well, I'm not really expecting a win. The Celtics are still killing their opponents even with out Garrnett. They just added Moore and are looking to add Marbury.
i hate the Celtics. I kinda want to go just to heckle the crap out of Paul Pierce.
Celtics = zero to hero (in one season). Every time I see them on TV, Cetics make it sound like its such a struggle and hard work. What "hard work"?!??!? Just slap together a few all stars and get a championship.. Bah. I can't stand watching "the truth" and "kg" with the shoulder rubbing and back and forth flattery. Yuck. Enjoy it while it lasts Boston... These kinda of trades need to be vetoed by the league. The Pau Gasol trade was wack too. Why cant the CLIPPERS pull something off like that. Uggggggg....
Lol imagine if they signed Marbury earlier and if he played against us today. That would suck. I agree with the whole KG whack, but now + another all-star in Marbury? That's complete garbage. On the other hand, Marbury is known to be a black-hole. Maybe he'll suck up the defending champs and destroy their team like he did with Phoenix and the Knicks. *crosses fingers*
With K.G. Out, I'm sure we can capitalize on this and come out with a close W down the stretch. If we played like we did against GSW, we should be fine.

E House was never this good when he played for the Clips. He was very streaky, inconsistant as I recall.

We will win this game.
Can't say that I've got much confidence in getting a win tonight, especially if no Nene. Maybe the home crowd can give them enough of a boost to pull one out.
Rumor is that mikki Moore is looking at signing with the Nuggets even though the Celtics want him.
I think mikki Moore is a good fit to Denver.. If GK wants him...
Thank god nenes aright. Since kg is still out this should be a good matchup. Rondo vs billups or melo vs pierce. Ray ray will kill us
I can definitely see the nugs pulling this game out, they won up in Boston with the big 3 still intact. Yeah, were missing nene but there also missing garnett so it makes the playing field even. I can see melo and chauncey upsetting whatever rondo and pierce gets and the rest of the bench can outplay the Celtics bench.
I hope Chauncy can actually guard Rondo unlike everyone on the suns
They have KG out. But they have three other superstars in ray Allen, Paul pierce and rondo.
Even if they have one missing they are still top 5 team. Too many first options there.

Boston's a cool team man. I love the way they play. I didn't really like Rondo before, but man, he has changed my mind this year. The dude just plays hard and the right way.

Melo isn't a franchise player..........he is like KG, a good player who can win some games but not take his team to a title without other superstars taking the lead

Interestingly enough, Balkman was taken #1 spot higher than Rondo
I would say the Nuggs losing Nene and the Celtics losing Garnett are about a wash in terms of value to their respective teams. The Nuggs have no excuse for this kind of effort at home before a sold-out crowd.

Sad that the jazz just beat this Celtic team in Utah too and we couldn't even compete with them without their best player. Granted garnett did go down that game but still.
I guess the Nuggets have hit rock bottom when chants of go celtics fill the place. Im embarased to be a Nugs fan.

KG is out we do have a chance to win, it's not going to be easy but we can do it.
Guys we are playing at home and C's have no KG. We don't have Amare but this is our best chance to get the C's on our own court.
Without KG their interior defence should be vulnerable and we need to rebound hard. If we can't beat a front court with Scalabrine and Perkins at the 4 and 5 there is something wrong. I don't think Boston has enough points in them to outgun the Suns.
Boston is also old compared to the Suns so we just need to push the tempo hard and score efficiently. If we do that we will win the game.
Yeah the only way to win from here on out is to use small ball, hopefully the C's get tired by the 3rd quarter.
Slow down Ray-Ray, he always goes off on us...
I met Rondo and Ray Allen yesterday, real classy guys (sorry guys but Ray Allen is one of my top 3 favorite players in the league) I talked to them about the new Suns style of play and asked what they thought of it, Rondo said he thinks he is ready for the challenge and Ray said said he's glad we are running again but also said he loves the US Airways three point line haha.
I don't expect the Stoudemire-less Suns to beat the Garnet-less Celtics. I just hope they can use this as an educational experience to come up with different plays they can use against other teams. If it turns out Boston is blowing them away, I would like the Suns to let the starters sit and play the bench instead. A loss is a loss. It won't matter if it's by 20 points or 40 points. Save the legs for games they can win- may be Lakers at home is still do-able.
I have the audacity of hope. Let's see what Gentry's SSOL can do against this team. Besides, we owe them. Big time.
Good test for the Amare-less Suns against a very good team, albeit without their best defensive player. Who cares!? A win is a win! I believe the Suns can beat the Celtics.

This is how it goes against the Celts and the lakers. Stern has set the refs straight about who he wants I The finals.
We need to make some stops at defense. And get the ball down low to shaq, get Davis and Perkins outta game.

We are turning the ball over a lot but this is squarely on the referees dictating the pace. We are not good in a half court set. That is where we turned the ball over under Porter. I know Gentry does not want to play this pound to shaq half court garbage, but with the way the refs are dictating the pace and digging us a grave there is no other solution.
The refs are not doing this on accident. They are actually very skilled. They just have an agenda and that agenda is NOT to make correct calls. It is to dictate tempo, work the spread, and pay homage to a higher rating draw under the instruction of Furor Stern
We are called for blocking fouls on the defensive end, while the C's do the same thing and we're called for a charge.
The Celtics go over the back on offensive boards almost everytime...The one play Barnes had I believe Powe Trapped uner the basket and Poe just jumps on his back to try to get the board.
We're getting schooled. Can Nash at least put a hand in Rondo's face? He's getting smoked every time. I'd like to see Shaq with a hard foul on him to make him think twice about coming back in the lane.
There is no way the Suns can win the way it's being officiated. They are calling fouls on the Suns almost every play, and none against the Celts. How can they expect the players to stay calm when they are being robbed?

The refs have been very poor and inconsistent at best. I hate how teams with a "physical" or "defensive" reputation get away with playing one way, while a "finesse" team like us can't touch anybody.
