We're gonna win this game tonight.
I hope KG tries to punk Gallo and gets smacked.
This is a perfect time for the Knicks to strike. Boston played in overtime last night. Those legs are weak right now.
I have a feeling that Qrich and Nate and Harrington is going to be on fire tonight from the 3 point range. So watch out Celtics. We may have a big 3rd quarter and we may just carry it on to the 4th quarter to sneak a victory!
Celtics lose a heartbreaker at home to the Lakers. Knicks will be victims in this one and will lose handily. Boston is pissed.
I have a feeling we might get a win tonight. We need to keep the c's off the line (especially pierce) and our bench needs to dominate theirs
That won't be hard. Their bench is a bunch of scrubs.
Lakers shattered the Celtics swag again, we should win this one
After seeing those highlights, this should be an easy win for the Knicks. If they somehow lose, its probably because they feel bad for the Celtics and how pathetic they were the last time these 2 teams meant.
I'm definitely gonna be watching for KG to start a fight tonight. The Celtics clearly like beating up on the knicks, and after the Lamar Odom thing and gettingg fouled out last night in a big loss, KG will want to take some frustration out. Good thing he's a b**ch that will probably just start something then back peddle faster than melo.
The keys to this game is not letting that scrub bench go off on us, especially house,Allen,powe.
I want to at least see David Lee make Fat Baby cry though...
Laker fan here... If you guys win this game, it wont be cus of your team played a good game and deserved it. Its because of the refs screwing the Celtics again... That's according to the what the Celtic board is gonna say lol. Every time they lose they blame the refs... So get ready for that.

1)wheelchair boy flopping as soon as some1 breaths on him...
2)garnett might pick on some1 small like nate... And probably elbow some1 and run his mouth.
3)rondo will dribble around a lot (cus he really thinks he is a point guard).
We're winning this game. Even though they don't have to prove anything after the last 2 games, these guys are hungry to continue to improve and to make a push. The Celtics don't have anyone who can kill us like Lebron and Kobe.
I just realized that we actually cause matchup problems for the Celtics. They have problems dealing with our speed.

Garnett is a punk. He's quickly going down the road of becoming as unlikable as Duncan. He's really sold out since coming to Boston, even though he's still admirable in some ways.
Tough swing there, Duhon turnover turns into a Pierce and 1. Terrific play by Rondo, including a very pretty assist…. Too bad we didn't draft that guy….

So depressing... These are definitely more fun to gather when we win. I hate the Lakers. They can complain about some calls, but the game changers were the foul on Garnett when he was the one getting fouled and the non call on Ray at the end. I really do hate the Lakers
Will Fatty Pierce guard Kobe tonight? Or will he guard Walton and Radmanovic again?
Boston we hardly knew you. But you were going to rise up and recreate the greatest rivalry in sports. You did your part last year and climaxed your season by downing a hurt Lakers squad in the finals.
This year you put together a great winning streak that had Boston fans salivating for a repeat. Lakers were finally healthy and looked like each was on a collision course to meet once again.
Christmas day was just an appetizer for what would surely become another season that would put the NBA back on top.
Then you go and lose 6 of your next 8 games after the Lakers knocked some reality back into your season and our hopes are dashed.
Couldn't of happened to a classier team that has "thug" written all over it. Piercewith his claim to be the "best player' in the NBAand KG with his chiding and barking at opposing players while crawling on his hands and knees.
I'm sure Red is smiling at your low class actionssince he was responsible for laying the ground work with his classless diatribe and lighting of his "victory" cigars.
You were once the NBA flagship now you're just a hated franchise with juveniles for players.

The most important thing about this gamewin or loseis that Pau must play strong and tough to show Boston that he won't be a pushover this time.
I don't expect Pau to bang bodies and throw elbows etc b/c he is not a bruiserbut then againhe is not totally soft and be thrown around like a rag doll either IMO.
This is going to feel like a playoff game tonightfor. How sweet would that be for the Lakers to end the C's 17 game winning streak and 12 game winning streaks this year???

Pau had some great shooting tonight (vs Raptors)but his post defense brings shivers down my spine. I can just see Perkins pushing him aroundand Rondo getting layups on him all night. I hope he comes in and plays tough. None of that flopping bull**** like the finalshe's got to be a presence and at least attempt to discourage layups.
I have a feeling that the Lakers will be getting abused. From watching tonights defenseall I can do is shudder when thinking about tomorrow.
My heart says the Lakers will compete tonight and may sneak one out. My gut says it could get ugly early and the Lakers could get blown out by halftime.
Kobe's doesn't shoot well against good defensive teams in the East......especially on the road.
KG is lucky that Bynum aint here. This is probably going to be a dirty game because Bynum isn't here and KG will play a dirty game against Gasol. Garnett wouldn't pull something dirty against Drew with the way he was playing right before injury because Garentt would be scared to try anything. I'm sure Bynum would bang up Garnett if he tried to bang up one of our guys.
We will win this if LO takes out Perkins shoulder early in the game this time. I have a feeling that he will go after it because Perkins is tough inside if he isn't hurt.
Things I know that will happen tonight....
1)garnett will flop all over the place and raise his hands up in the air to look innocent.
2)wheelchair guy will drive to do his little cheesy spins moves at the end of the spin he will purposely run into someones chest and start flailing to get a cheap call. Another flopper.
3)rondo will dribble around (cus he really thinks he is a pointguard) and do his over used behind the back fake.
4)ray Allen will chew his gum like it still has flavor.
5)20% chance big baby may cry or become glassy eyed.
6)Perkins will still look ugly.
7)Brian scalabikini still thinks he made a difference in the finals..
Watch out for Glen Davis this game fellas. I watched a couple recent Boston games to get primed for this matchup. His midrange jumper is falling.
Ariza on Ray Allen is a much more important matchupIMO. Shut down Ray and Celtics will have hard time winning. Kobe on Paulina and Fisher on Rondo.
Ray Allen is the cog that drives their offense. Look how he struggled in the playoffs in the east when he was contained defensively and struggled. Then he blows up against us in the playoffs.
And it coincides with the Celtics streak that Ray Allen is playing great again. I hate that ugly smirk on him.
I don't care that we don't have Bynum. The same team took Boston to 6 games last year. The same team was up 21 pts in game 4 last year against Boston. Yes we're better with bynumbut we should be able to play hard and compete tmrw night

Lakers win! This proves who is the best team in the league. We beat them without Drew and on their court while they were 100% and with the refs against us! We'll see them for game 1 in June in LA this time. They are so overrated!
Yeah, the refs were against us, but that one call on KG that fouled him out was a questionable call in our favor and it was a big one.
This is going to send Boston into a real funk...
If beating them on Christmas sent them into a losing streak, this loss should knock them out completely.

Fisher was holding Allen's arm that entire play. Fisher got away with one there.
Wellit was a clear foul if its in the first 3 quartersbut it wasn't that much of a foul. HellRay even broke away Fisher's arm so it might have thrown off his rhythmbut Ray tried to draw the foul by bringing his arm through Fisher. You don't get that call late in the gamelike Kobe not getting calls when he is shoved 20 feet from the basket or when Pierce holds his jersey and doesn't allow Kobe to drive for an open layup.
And how about the 6 phantom FTs pierce got at the end of the 4th. This game wouldn't even be in OT. How about all the overthebacks and pushoffs under the hoop? How about all the moving screens set by KG?

Coming off a back-to-back no less. The odds were against us. We overcame the c's bench, their meek attempts at intimidation, and the wimpy crowd.
How ridiculous can Eddie House be?? This was by far not another regular season game. The way he trash talked, and his face after the game totally explains everything. This win secures home-court advantage if they meet in the finals. They're gonna look back at this in June with faces of remorse.
You have to be freaking kidding me. "They celebrated like the won the finals"? What kind of crap is that? KG said the same thing, and It just shows how angry they get when they get by the Lakers. They're a bunch of cocky bunch of bums.
Now we can end Cleveland's home streak.. THAT would be sweet!!! If only.... Ownage of the tie-breaker for both Boston and Cleveland would be huge. Breaking Cleveland's home streak after Lebronze's selfish attempt at MSG one-upsmanship... Priceless. But the Cavs are tougher than the Celtics so it will be hard.

Philly lucks out and gets to play Boston without Kevin Garnett, out with the flu. Tony Allen also has the flu (but will accompany the team) but Brian Scalabrini, who filled in very well when center Kendrick Perkins missed five games a couple weeks ago, is also out, with a concussion.
Golden opportunity for Philly to beat their hated rival the Celtics. If they lose with all this going for them, it will truly be an embarrassment.
I thinks the Sixers take this one. The stars are aligned... As long as they don't go 0-18 from the field to close out the game.
I think the only question about this game is if it will be Pierce of Allen that's dropped 20+ on us at halftime before sitting pretty much the rest of the game. Just not feelin too good about this one at all. Even with Garnett out I don't think we do enough inside as it is for that too be much of an advantage
Home court and no Garnett increases the Sixers' chances a ton.
Not only could the Sixers lose tonight, but if the Celtics breath on them the entire next week might be in jeopardy. I hope they got their flu shots. Maybe they should play wearing masks...
...and rubber gloves. Don't forget that the ball gets touched by those germy players.

This is the type of play that can beat Boston. They do not like physical play. They like to prance around and have little contact. Fight em and they start missing shots and then they get frustrated and when that happens you can beat them.
Boston are one of, if not thee most physical teams in the league. I know KG isn't playing, but still, come on.

It was well coached by the Sixers. You leave a historical choke artist and poor 4th quarter performer in Ray Allen open like that all day. The dude has never hit a buzzer beater in his career and chokes 99% of the time. I wouldn't be surprised if that was designed. I'll take Keith Van Horn in the clutch over Allen.
Are u serious? Ray is CLUTCH, clearly u haven't followed his career at all. He hit the most game winners for the Celtics last season, and is second in game winners this season. Prior to that with the sonics he had at least 3-4 game winners per season, and was second in 82games.com clutchness rating to Carmelo Anthony. Get your facts straight. (Celtics fan)
That is not true at all actually. If you want to compare him to Melo who has never done anything in big games just like Allen never has then fine be my guest. That is like saying someone is as good in the playoffs as T-Mac. He's historically one of the worst 2 guards in NBA history in the 4th quarter statistic-wise. Also as far as game winners the very stat is subjective. Technically a game winner can be any point that lead to the team winning, even if it is more than a minute left. Statistically and factually though he's never hit a game winner before. His CSPCSA is a whopping 2% which is 2 out of every 100 attempted.
He has a complex that won't allow him to say anything positive about the Celtics.
Ray was top 5 in the league in points per fourth quarter. Also Clutchness was defined by being down 2 and hitting a 3 with less than 24 seconds left in the game, or being down 1 and hitting a 2 with 24 seconds left in the game. Let give the Celtics a run for their money!
No K.G in this game should make things a little more interesting.
Guess that Mchale would want this game badly and I'll bet he's got the boys pumped. I don't think Boston will take us as lightly as they did last year when we almost pulled an upset. Man, it'd be great if we could beat these guys on their home floor.
I thought Perkins would be suspended.
Still can't believe KG isn't there. He must have been shot in the face or something for him not to play. Maybe he just doesn't want to hurt the Wolves.

The low post competition in our three losses also well exposed our weak defensive play in the trenches. We definitely need a big who doesn't mind knocking a guy on his @ss down there.
We need an enforcer like Perkins who will throw a guy on his head when he starts pushing inside. Big Al is great but doesn't have that mentality.
I think we put up a good fight. I think we shouldve won because they didn't have Garnett but still its the Celtics and even without KG there still one of the best teams in the NBA.
Al was a Beast. Rhino sucked again. Why does he start? Who knows. Gomes had a good game and gets screwed by refs, especially on those drives through the lane. Miller took 4 shots this game. Maybe by next season he'll be up to 10 shots per game. PP34, Ray, and Rondo are all studs.
