CELTICS GREEN BLOG by and for boston celtics fans: Comments from the Other Side

It's amazing to me how fans start out expecting a win or at least a good game from their team and then by the end of the thread they are attacking every player on their own team. It would seem to me crediting the Celtics for being so strong defensively would be a better way to go instead of throwing every Bobcat player under the bus. Well, they didn't throw Gerald Wallace under the bus, but just about everyone else. And, with Larry Brown at the helm, they can't even really blame the coach like the Cavs fans can and do.

We'll be opening up against the universally despised ( at least around here ) Boston Celtics. The Celtics will be coming off of a tough game against Lebron and the Cavs the night before, so its likely that they may come into the game without being completely focused on the Cats.

Considering we match up well with them and they will be coming in on the back end of a back to back having just played King James and Shaq, I think we have a good shot at winning.

Charlotte has no chance of beating Boston on their Home opener. New Season; new lost.

I watched that game tonight Boston @ Cleveland and I think we are going to have our hands full tomorrow night, I pray that the Celtics are going to be very tired against us because they looked very good tonight...

I think we can win. The Celtics are an older team and this is there first back-to-back game of the season. That means there bodies are not yet used to it so it will be that much harder.

Ok so they are tired... Maybe they sleepwalk thru 3 quarters and let us hang around, then in the 4th they get serious and shut us down defensively, while pierce gets to the line 10 times in the last 5 mins and they win by 5. That's my prediction anyway.
Unless they lose vs Cleveland in that first game... In that case, god help us. We will get destroyed.

To have Rasheed Wallace and Kevin Garnett on the court together just isn't fair.

Lakers and Boston are in another league then the rest of the league.

Cavs are better then the Celtics. And just because they are in that other "leauge" doesn't mean we cant beat them, the lackers have only beatn us...twice? Since weve come into th elague. We own them. Plus we hav e apretty good record against the Celtics too I think, if not then all the losses are very close.

Cavs are better and deeper then the Celtics. Celtics are old and will burn out at the end of the season just like they did last year.

Felton cannot guard Ray Allen not to mention we're playing a fully loaded Celtics team. Not feeling good about this one. Hopefully we'll have a good November.

Yeah, which makes me wonder: is that our defense keeping us in this, or is Boston just not really giving it their all yet? I'm hoping for the prior, but I'm wondering if it's the latter.

KG looked like he sat on him. I swear it looked like he was worried about Ray getting up and he pancaked him to the floor face first, which I'm sure wasn't his intent but come on.

Well that game sucked....A new all time low in points scored 59... Ewe got no where to go now but up....

I think maybe Okafor is laughing at us, too. Even if they lose, he's having a good game, and TC did not.
