Celtics, Indy Seeking 3rd Team for Trade

The Herald is reporting that the negotiations in the Daniels trade have hit a snag. Reports were that Tony would be traded for Daniels, but Indy has been reluctant due to Tony's off court and legal problems.
The Pacers, beset by past citizenship issues, are reportedly relctant to bring in Allen. The guard’s off-court issues, including death threats in Chicago that required extra bench security during last spring’s playoffs, cut agaiinst the grain of Pacers president Larry Bird’s attempt to move away from the legacy of players like Ron Artest and Jamaal Tinsley. So, it seems that unless they can find a 3rd team to make this work, Danny will be stuck using the LLE to sign Daniels, but it seems that he would much rather make a sign and trade deal and save the LLE.
Also mentioned is the fact that although the Nets are interested in Big Baby, both the Celtics and Nets have shot down reports about a Big Baby sign and trade in the works:
Though the Celtics have attempted to include restricted free agent Glen Davis in several sign-and-trade deals with other teams, sources with the Celtics and New Jersey both shot down a rumor this morning that both teams were attempting to make such an arrangement work. So, more rumors to add to all the rumors from yesterday. One thing is for sure, there are things going on for all this smoke to be out there. All these rumors may be tied together and we may see a 3 or 4 team deal go down in the near future. Hopefully we will get some real news soon as all these rumors that are spinning are making me dizzy.
