FL's Take: I love this kid. I really think he is going to be a very good player. I think he could have helped us this year if Doc had given him more playing time. He is like Leon in that he makes the most of every minute he plays. Whether he plays 5 minutes or 25 minutes, he makes the most of it.

Lakers earn playoff spot with victory
FL's Take: You know, every time I watch a Lakers game or a Cavs game I get frustrated. Both teams have been pulling out close games in the end because they get a lot of help from the refs. The officiating this season has been awful. When a team plays the Cavs and dominates them, you see a 38-12 free throw advantage for the Cavs as the refs desperately try to even it out for them. When they play a close game you see blatant bad calls down the stretch to take the other team out. Stern and his minions need to go if he can't clean up the officiating. But then again, maybe it is Stern who is giving the orders and he is just fine with it.

FL's Take: I still have a soft spot for Big Al and all the kids who tried so hard in those down years for the Celtics. Danny used them as chips to bring Banner 17, but I would love to see Big Al, Gomes, and DWest in particular come back to Boston one day. I doubt it would ever happen, though.

FL's Take: I don't think we should really complain about either of them yet. They have had all of 3 practices with the team and both seem to be trying very hard to learn the system and help the team. Give them another couple of weeks before getting down on either one of them.

FL's Take: I really don't like Phil Jackson. If the Celtics for some reason don't repeat, the only thing I hope for is that Jackson doesn't win either. I don't want him to pass Red in championships won. He is so arrogant and such a jerk. He doesn't deserve it.
