Herald Bill Walker gives support to Celtics FL's Take: I love this kid. I really think he is going to be a very good player. I think he could have helped us this year if Doc had given him more playing time. He is like Leon in that he makes the most of every minute he plays. Whether he plays 5 minutes or 25 minutes, he makes the most of it. Scouting report: Grizzlies at Celtics Globe Free and easy Grizzlies thumbnails Lakers earn playoff spot with victory FL's Take: You know, every time I watch a Lakers game or a Cavs game I get frustrated. Both teams have been pulling out close games in the end because they get a lot of help from the refs. The officiating this season has been awful. When a team plays the Cavs and dominates them, you see a 38-12 free throw advantage for the Cavs as the refs desperately try to even it out for them. When they play a close game you see blatant bad calls down the stretch to take the other team out. Stern and his minions need to go if he can't clean up the officiating. But then again, maybe it is Stern who is giving the orders and he is just fine with it. WEEI Perk on Dale and Holly FL's Take: I love Perk! Doc on Dennis and Callahan NBA.com Taking a look back at the Spectrum's top 10 moments FL's Take: One by one the old arenas are going by the wayside. Kind of sad to see them go. There will never be another like the Boston Garden though. Talk about home court advantage. Red's Army Accentuating the positive CelticsBlog Classic legacy FL's Take: The Celtics indeed have a legacy in the league. One that the Fakers and any other team in the league can't match. Suite 101 NBA's elite position themselves for title run SI.com Pop Culture grid (Rondo is sick of hearing about.....) FL's Take: I sure hope that Rondo said that tongue in cheek. If he really is sick of hearing about Marbury, that could spell trouble for team chemistry. Daily News Tribune Celtics: Busy stretch up ahead for C's The Day The joy of six overtimes Examiner Kendrick Perkins has broken a very bad habit FL's Take: Perk has worked hard to improve his game and it shows. Lex Nihil Novi Sixers slow Celtics (90-91) Celtics defense on the decline (81-82) Tony Allen worried about role upon return ESPN Boston's lack of depth could cost home court advantage in 2nd round Star Tribune Jefferson begins long rehab trek FL's Take: I still have a soft spot for Big Al and all the kids who tried so hard in those down years for the Celtics. Danny used them as chips to bring Banner 17, but I would love to see Big Al, Gomes, and DWest in particular come back to Boston one day. I doubt it would ever happen, though. Pass Patterns The importance of Rajon Rondo Celtics Circuit Blog Gabe Pruitt pines for opportunities NESN Celtics' fans' inner debate Marbury needs to be a star Pete Marasmitch The ultimate Pops Mensah Bonsu scouting report Projo Marbury now shooting 26%,Moore fouling more than rebounding FL's Take: I don't think we should really complain about either of them yet. They have had all of 3 practices with the team and both seem to be trying very hard to learn the system and help the team. Give them another couple of weeks before getting down on either one of them. AdFreak.com Adidas NBA stars finally make it to college NBA.com Lakers' Jackson marches on toward 10th title FL's Take: I really don't like Phil Jackson. If the Celtics for some reason don't repeat, the only thing I hope for is that Jackson doesn't win either. I don't want him to pass Red in championships won. He is so arrogant and such a jerk. He doesn't deserve it. LA Times Stephon Marbury does little to nothing to boost Boston Patriot Ledger Injuries a way of life in the NBA FL's Take: If injuries are a way of life, the Celtics sure have been living it up lately!! USA Today Grizzlies - Celtics preview A Stern Warning The Internet and the NBA in 1989 Comcast SportsNet Four on the floor, a random Celtics think piece Sports of Boston Injury ravaged Celtics need to pace healthy stars Herald Tribune Gomes is starting to flourish for fallen T-Wolves With Malice Gastronomic Delights (Power Rankings)
