Late Rally Lifts Toros Over Flash

The Flash were down just one point at 89-88 with just over 2 minutes to go but the Toros' defense forced a combination of turnovers and missed shots that allowed the Austin Toros to pull out the 97-88 win over the Utah Flash. The Toros were the Celtics original D-League affiliate, coached by the late Dennis Johnson.

Bill Walker finished the game with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block. J.R.Giddens, still playing with a sore wrist, finished with 13 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 3 blocks.

The Flash (6-8) will take on the Anaheim Arsenal in Tuesday's nightcap of the NBA Development League Showcase in Orem at 7:15 p.m.
