CELTICS GREEN BLOG by and for boston celtics fans: Comments from the Other Side

It's always funny how the fans of other teams start out talking about how they have no hope and their team has to play the perfect game to win and then by the end they are talking about how overrated the Celtics are. The Celtics have been playing poorly and the other teams have been playing their best game of the century against the Celtics but yet for that one game, their team is the best in the world. Too bad they only play like that one game a season.

Basicly everyone needs to play good to great for us to have a chance...

looks like Wallace is gong to be able to do almost wut he pleases against pierce.

You know, I think Garnett may be one of the most over hyped players in this league. I mean the guy has always been a solid player but if you lok at it he has never really been able to do anything until he got with 3 other superstars. Just watchin him now garnett just doesn't scare me anywhere close to as much as Allen and piece do.

KG was my favourite NBA player. Now he is no class. I would love us to upset them.

Key Bench Player is Adam Morrison.

You know, that guy picked 3rd in the 06 draft. Capital "A" d-a-m, Morrison.

Adam Morrison is the key? Playing the Celtics puts me in a bit of a bad mood but hearing Morrison being brought up is even worse.

Rondo and Ray have been off lately, double Pierce and KG and make them beat us.

Well, Boston has had some problems lately. Either they correct those mistakes and get mad and take it out on us and beat us by 30, or we take advantage of the situation and pull off an upset.

13 trips to the foul line in the first, keep that up and this one's done.

I'm glad Leon Powe has made it. I liked him coming out of cal but was terrified of his knees. Great bench player, but I'm sure if we got him he would've developed a weight problem and extended minutes would've cashed those knees with a quickness.

So far the difference is the FT line for us. Boston is 5 of 11 while we are 14 of 16. As we have traditionally had a weakness at the FT line, that is a very nice stat to see.

I really hate Garnett's attitude

That was a terrible, terrible foul by Howard on Davis. No need for a hit like that.

Is Rondo European? Man he flops.

Is it me or does Rajon Rondo have weird looking shoulders?

I haven't had the chance to experience the famed homerism of the Boston announcers before, but now I see what everyone is talking about.

You think they're bad now you should have seen them when that old guy with the HEAVY Boston accent commentated. I have never seen such a homer as that guy was.

It would be nice to see them play this tough every night. If they did, we would have a winning record.

Refs have been REALLY bad tonight -for both teams.

I just think its hilarious how often Boston is going to the line.

Man we sure did get the Celtics at a good time. We always play them hard so maybe this was bound to happen anyway.

I only wish the Celtics weren't in a slump then this win would mean a lot more.

Wow, Celtics 2-5 in last 7 games. What has happened to them?

They are falling apart. Guess they should blow that team apart and start rebuilding. Maybe they could send a player or two our way.

Teams have figured out how to control the tempo of the game and the Celtics bench is starting to look almost as shallow as our Bobcats bench has looked. The Celtics had better hope they can get Stephon Marbury or at least some kind of true backup pg. Eddie House is not that person. He is way too slow and does not shoot consistently.
