CELTICS GREEN BLOG by and for boston celtics fans: Comments from the Other Side

Most of the Sixers talk on the boards was about how bad their team was and how much they hate the Celtics. They also got the obligatory slam in on Tommy Heinsohn. I love the last exchange... "Who said the Sixers would be better than Boston?... Someone on medication."

Blood bath is looming. This game should be amusing, probably will be over after the 1st quarter.

I hate the Celtics. Those haughty bastards need to start losing. Are the big 3 old yet- now, well maybe next year

The worst part of this is that rajon rondo should be a sixer it's not as bad as the non wagner trade but seriousl - two non trades with boston franchises that would have made said teams much better much quicker

Man, it is amazing how bad we have gotten in such a short time period especially when you consider we hardly changed the core players and spent 200 million dollars this summer.

Hey, you know, we did beat Boston last season with this lineup...

I remember the Sixers winning that game because KG could simply not make a shot in the 4th -- it was weird.

I don't think Boston will lapse on defense yet again, as the Knicks scored on them a bunch of points.

Boston is the most over-rated NBA champion in the history of the NBA. The reason the Hawks took them to 7 games is the same reason we're in this one: Boston's individual perimeter defense is shaky. Despite having two guys(Pierce and Rondo) who are rather good defensive players.

i have watched NBA league Pass for 3 years now and i am pretty friggin sick of boston's announcers. I rate them #1 worst. 0 objectivity. they don't do their research so they know little about the sixers.

One thing's for sure: of all the announcers out there, Tommie Heinsohn is the biggest homer of them all. The Celts never do anything wrong in his book. It is perpetually annoying hearing him add "color" to a game.

Zumoff is not a homer?

Zumoff may be a homer, but like 95% of the other announcers out there, he still manages to maintain some sense of fairness and perspective. Heinsohn is incapable of either...

Why does Garnett need to curse after everything he does? Does it make him cool?

We are shooting 55% and they are shooting 46%... And they are up by 8. That is bad.

Does it feel to anyone else like the celtics are cats and the sixers are just mice - just toying with them

I think we should all pitch in an buy Miller something to help him keep up with the next generation quick PG's like Rondo:

KG is the only man in the NBA 6'10 and above that can't dunk. Dude can't jump over a magazine.

At least we didn't lose by 50. That's all I'm hanging on to right now.

Losing to Indiana is one thing, but to lose to a team as brutal as Boston? This team is starting to hit rock bottom.
