So much Rondo hate from Knicks fans. Not sure where all that is coming from. One of the few times though where I have seen a fan admit that the officiating wasn't all going against them. There was some good Leon Powe love from the Knicks fans though.

I think the Knicks' lack of size and depth will really hurt them in this game. If they struggled vs. Bogut and Mbah Moute, Garnett and Pierce are gonna kill em.

The real story here is not about if the Knicks will lose this game. We all know the answer to that! What really hurts about this game and surprising no one is mentioning it. When Boston wins this game they will have tied the record for "Best season start" of 26-2. The Celtics next game comes on Tuesday against Philly. Know with our luck they will beat us tonight and lose vs. Philly which will bound us to the record, negatively of course!

Essentially we just need a damn shooting guard who can actually shoot. Makes sense right? Ha. Its sad when your starting SG is the worst shooter in the lineup.

This could get real ugly, real fast When does the mercy rule kick in?

With you it's like a player is either an all-star or a scrub. I honestly have no idea how you can say this guy is "trash". The guy was a one man wrecking crew in the 3rd. Pierce was on the bench and Ray and K.G. Might have taken 3 FGA total. He did all the scoring and play making for other scrubs like Allen and Perk.

2 more lucky drives to the basket by a horrible trash player. The Celtics need to trade this kid

Rondo just did a travelling near the end of the quarter. Seems he can't wait to have a running match with Usain Bolt

The Celtics bench is very shaky.

Rondo is unstoppable. Hard to believe I could say this but he looks like the best player on the Celtics right now.

Rajon Rondo is the best point guard in the Eastern Conference Imo. Devin Harris can score all the points he wants, but Rondo is the bomb right now.

Hard to knock Rondo, but how can a PG who can’t shoot be so devastating on the offensive end?

he’s their fourth option and hard to focus on much, and he’s so quick, he gets Tony Parker-like layups constantly. Parker couldn’t shoot much for a while either, Rondo is getting better at it.

If Rondo Gets a Jumper forget about it....

We get calls our way sometime and so does Boston. It all balances out in the end.

The bench just took this game from us and that's their known weak spot and that's without Big Baby...

Leon Powe is a real solid player and I've always laughed at dude. Good defender and powerful rebounder.

I just think Rondo's overrated. He's a good defender and fast as all hell. I don't think he's a killer playmaker or that he warrants All Star consideration at all. He does take what the D gives him though which is a nice attribute. His jumper's trash though

What would guys like Perkins and rondo be doing on the bobcats? Certainly nothing close to what they are doing now with the big 3. Powe would be as effective on the bobcats, the warriors as he would on the Celtics...

If Rondo was on a worse team he would be out of the league already.

Although rondo had a good game, we ususally are hurt by some scrub, if not rondo then it would have been the knick killer scalabrine, so we can overcome games from guys like that, it is when we can't stop teams from outplaying us in the paint that we get blown out..

Powe has very little basketball skills whatsoever, but he is one of the few guys on that team, that does not benefit that much from the big 3. In other words, he doesn't get a ton of picks like rondo does, he can't throw the ball to KG and pierce to bail him out, he doesn't get open because of those guys much either. Usually when powe is in the game, he is in with the bench, and he usually scores of putbacks, and every game, this guy seems to make an impact cleaning up trash... He does this everygame and he earns every point and he does this all on hustle and hard work... I used to make fun of the guy, but everything he gets, He earned!!

I watch rondo closely, he is one of the biggest benefactors in the NBA.... He brings less to the table than he take away... All the screens, for easy forays to the hoop, his passes are all over the place. Just watch how KG has to catch those ally OOPs... Watch his kickouts to ray Allen. He gets those assists because those guys are so great at catching his junk and converting it to buckets.... And the fact that he does that old 1975 fake behind the pass move with everything he does, is just wack!!!!

The Celtics seem to get up for playing the knicks, like they are jealous of New York or something. I can't wait for the tide to turn when the Celts start to get old and the Knicks get to 2010.

Rajon Rondo might not be a "scrub" but he would have no impact on a team like ours. I am not a Duhon fan, but put him on the CELTICS -- he'd get a triple double at least 10 times a season!

The best part about the Rondo is he can actually destroy the team, here's how.

He's a RFA now, so its going to make sense to let him ride into the '10 FA year but I can almost GUARANTEE that that they give this bum 9-10 Million a year extension. So instead of trying to get a Joe Johnson or higher when Allen is up, they will overpay him and never walk into that year with any money. Keep it up Rondo, make yourself look better than you are.

I also agree rondo is a bench player, anyone can look like a all star playing with 3 HOF players.

If Richardson hated every team like he hates the Celtics he might actually be a decent player
