Eddie Gill drained a 10 foot jumper with 0.2 seconds remaining to give the Colorado 14ers a 105-103 win over the Utah Flash at the Broomfield Event Center Friday night. Colorado rallied from an eight point fourth quarter deficit to move to 7-3 on the season, while Utah falls to 5-6.
With 25.2 seconds remaining and the game tied at 103, Bill Walker was called for an offensive foul when he hooked Trey Gilder on the baseline. Colorado got the ball back and Gill dribbled the shot clock down to four seconds before driving to his right on Dontell Jefferson. He floated a 10 footer over the top of the Utah defense that bounced around the rim three times before falling with only 0.2 left on the clock.
Walker finished with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals, mostly scoring inside. Giddens contributed 12 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal.
