Player of the Game - Kendrick Perkins

This was a game in which we could pick any one of several players as Player of the Game and be justified. Here are the candidates:
Paul Pierce 22 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
Rajon Rondo 15 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 steals
Brian Scalabrine 8 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block
Leon Powe 14 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block
Eddie House 8 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists 2 steals
Kendrick Perkins 16 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks

Every one brought big contributions. But, in my opinion, the guy that set the tone for the game was Kendrick Perkins. He was aggressive on both ends of the court from start to finish and came up big (no pun intended) in the absence of Kevin Garnett. Perk is the team's enforcer, but he is proving that he is more than that and can do other things when the team needs him to. He is the ultimate role player in the Celtics' tradition.
