RETRIEVING CONTENT...PLEASE WAIT
Reminder to Celtics fans

This is a warning (more like a reminder) that this is just preseason, and we should tame our excitement regarding our players. Its encouraging to hear that O'Bryant is looking good in our first few games, and that Walker looks like he belongs, but before we start to set anything in stone, lets remember a few things:
-in preseason, teams play their second and third stringers a lot, which is basically garbage time to work on things
-because coaches play their benches more, guys who won't normallly get a lot of playing time will get a lot of playing time, thus putting up better numbers
-because these bench players are getting more time, and the starters rest more, plays will be called for them that they probably won't ever get to see during the regular season.
What I'm saying is some players off the bench will start to shine in preseason, and if we aren't careful, we're going to want them playing big minutes when the regular eason rolls around, thinking they'll put up similar numbers like they did in preseason. But we'll be brought back down to earth when they look lost going up against opposing starters.
But of course, its also a time to be encouraged when we see O'Bryant, Walker, and Pruitt etc., playing well. That bodes well for our growing confidence in our bench. Just don't take it too far and tell your friends that O'Bryant is going to be an All-Star this season
