FL's Take: Training camp starts on Monday and players are in town working out. It's time for some Celtics news. We get news on the refs and other teams but very little on the Celtics. FL's Take: I am reading Pistol now and this reminds me of how Press shaped Pete to be a basketball phenom from his early years. Press believed that some kids have the basketball gene and some don't. Maybe this kid has the gene but I also saw how tortured Pete was as well and how the pressure got to him eventually. I hope Marquise Walker's dad keeps that in mind.

FL's Take: I think Marbury will catch on with a team and will help a team. I don't think it will be the Celtics even though his name has been linked with them. He still has a lot of basketball left if a team can get past his attitude.

FL's Take: I believe that they can repeat but everything has to fall in place for it to happen. They have to avoid injuries, continue the commitment to defense, and continue their unselfish play. A lot of other teams, in the Atlantic division especially, have improved and the Celtics can't be complacent if they want to repeat.

I think the Atlantic Division is going to be average at best. New Jersey basically gave up on their season trading away Richard Jefferson and they are not a good team. The Knicks are headed for another long season. The Sixers are a good team but I don't think they're contenders, they're similar to Orlando to me a good team but not great. The Raptors should battle for a lower playoff spot if things go well, or the bottom could fall out and Sam Mitchell could get finally be fired. The Celtics should easily win the Atlantic.

The team that worries me is Philly. They could be very good. They have some nice pieces and it will all depend on how their chemistry develops.
