FL's Take: It does seem like the Hornets can offer the most. The Lakers are strapped and reports are that the Cavs are going in another direction. The Wizards are reportedly interested but would have to move some contracts to sign him. I sure hope Danny makes enough of an offer to keep him before the Hornets up theirs.

FL's Take: Scal's contract may be one of Danny's few blunders. What ever possessed him to give Scal a 5 year contract? Maybe that is why he is balking at a longer contract for Posey. Burn me once shame on you... Burn me twice... kind of thing. But, Posey at 36 is still likely to be twice the player that Scal was when he was signed.

Great to have you back. You have been missed. Hope your vacation was fun and relaxing so you can get back to pumping out those articles :-)

I don't think O'Bryant is going to be as bad as his stint in GS makes it appear. He played very well in summer league and seemed to impress Danny. GS had a running game and didn't fit with a back to the basket type post player. Don Nelson is notorious for not liking rookies and not playing them. He may surprise us when put in Doc's system and playing with Perk and KG and the rest of the Celtics.
