Herald James Posey chooses free agency over C’s
FL's Take: Tony is a free agent, but I wouldn't rule out his returning at a lower cost make good contract. Of course, someone else may make him an offer he can't refuse in the meantime, but I think the Celtics were hesitant to give him 2.5 million at this point.
Globe Posey is Celtics' top target
FL's Take: Hopefully, they can get Posey re-signed. He brings so much to the team that doesn't show up in the stats. Let's hope Danny isn't just talking about wanting Posey back and makes him a decent offer.

FL's Take: Perk often doesn't get the recognition that he deserves because he doesn't put up big numbers. As this says, KG is much better when Perk is in. The defense and the picks and the boxing out for his teammates to get rebounds don't show up in the stats, but they are crucial to the team's success. You need look no further than Game 5 of the Finals to see how very important Perk is to the defense.
