What an incredible SI cover. Like ghost of Celtics past meets ghost of Celtics present. Just like the video with KG hugging Bill Russell right after game 6 as KG told him that he didn't need one of his rings since he had one of his own now, it is enough to give any Celtics' fan goosebumps. These two have a real respect for each other. What an incredible exchange between these two.

Without a doubt, the Russell/KG angle of the 2008 championship is at or near the top in my book.

It is just so clear that KG is the new Russell. I got my Russell throw back to hang next to my Garnett jersey.

Those two are what being a Celtic's about.
