Fiddlin' and Diddlin' - Daily Links 6/27 Friday, June 27, 2008 by FLCeltsFan 11:17 AM Herald Celtics select J.R. Giddens with 30th pick in NBA draftFL's Take: The more I read about Danny's two picks, the more I believe they are insurance in case Posey bolts more than to replace Tony. Tony probably will be signed as a bargain as he still hasn't proved himself. But Posey will be getting big offers and if he decides to take one of them and Danny feels he is unable to match, he will need someone to fill that role. Giddens seems like a good place to start. Ainge again busy late FL's Take: The Walker pick at 47 reminded me of when Danny grabbed Leon at 49. Both slipped due to ACL surgeries in their past and both could have been high first round picks if it wasn't for the questions about the knees.
