FL's Take: When Danny took over, he said that he had a 5 year plan: Gather as many young players and chips as he could get and use them to bring in veteran all stars. He worked his plan to perfection as in 5 years, he took them to a championship. Red would have been proud.

High Five for Ray, Perk
FL's Take: Perk and Ray both deserve a lot of credit for the Celtics win. Ray stepped up his game and in my opinion, was the MVP because he was the most consistent. Much was made of Pierce asking to be put on Kobe, but Ray handled him for most of the Finals. Perk was solid defensively the entire playoffs and when he missed game 5, it became evident just how important he was.
A comeback for the ages

FL's Take: Repeating is always hard for any team. Danny will have to make some moves to put the team in position to repeat. Signing Posey is one, bringing back Thibodeau is another and filling the back up point guard spot is another along with a back up at center.

FL's Take: The officiating in the NBA has been terrible. Whether they are incompetent or they have an agenda is not known. But, Stern must do something to restore credibility to the officials or the league is in for a lot more trouble. The first step should be to take the control of them away from Stern and make them independent. The second step would be to put an oversight committee over them so that they aren't above criticism any more.
