The Pink stained shirt has been auctioned off to an anonymous out-of-state bidder for $35,000 big ones. Yes, you read right. The shirt, stained Gatorade pink and signed by Doc and Paul. Also auctioned off was the Gatorade bucket, which Paul had used to dump the Gatorade (which was actually orange) over Doc as the C's won their 17th Championship. The first title since 1986. The bucket received two $10,000 dollar bids. One from Gatorade and another from a second anonymous bidder. The grand total for the auction was $55,000 bucks. All the proceeds go to the Shamrock Foundation. That's not all! Steve Pagliuca, who is the President of the Shamrock Foundation pledged to donate an additional $35,000 greenbacks if the winning bidder allows the organization to use the shirt for display purposes every now and then. No word as of yet on whether the winner has agreed to the offer. On a side note, former Pats Coach Bill Parcells reportedly placed a bid of $20,000.
