FL's Take: I have no doubt that Rip will play and play well. This may all be a ruse to get the Celtics complacent because looking at the play, I couldn't see where he could have hurt himself very much on that play. He was choking Ray and then grabbed his elbow. This is like the Chauncey Billups ruse. Hurt one game. Fine the next. All a way to get into the Celtics' heads.

Calls like the misses flagrant on Rip that was given after the fact, the blown call that could very well have stolen the game from the Spurs, watching LeBron pull Pierce's jersey out and no call, and all the others. If the league wants to get respect back, do a better job.
