Herald C's handle their business History by the numbers Can't wait for the playoffs FL's Take: Like everyone else, I am excited for the playoffs. It has been so long since I was able to look forward to more games after the regular season. But, I am also savoring every single game of the regular season. I watch and re-watch every game. Knowing that we are going into the post season with more games coming is just the icing on the cake. KG in Rivers' corner FL's Take: I think Doc has done a great job this season. I think he is similar to KC Jones in a lot of ways in that he is the right coach for this mix of veterans and young players. Neither are the strongest X and O coach, but they don't have to be with the veterans on the team. O’Brien feels his old team’s new spirit Globe Pacesetters Remainder has to do with rest FL's Take: It will be good to give the starters some rest for the next week and then get them back to normal minutes over the last few games. The other title contenders are resting their starters and the Celtics would be at a disadvantage if they don't do the same. Like I said before, I am savoring every minute of it. Celtics 24/7 Celtics win 60, tie history Hoopsworld Celtics too deep for Pacers to handle FL's Take: I think back to the beginning of the season when everyone said that the Celtics wouldn't win because they had no bench. The starters would have to play too many minutes and they just weren't deep enough to compete. Now, we hear about how deep they are. Kind of funny. Red's Army Glen Davis is photogenic Sports of Boston Celtics four point play Celtics reach the big 6-0 Patriot Ledger Celts are so good they’re scary Celtics notebook: O’Brien happy for the Celtics On second thought, rest is good Connecticut Post 60, 36 and 2; Boston's numbers game Worcester Telegram Celtics close in on top seed FL's Take: I would love to see the Celtics win 67 so Charles Barkley has to walk to the studio in a speedo. Now, that would be special. Cassell, Brown wait their turn FL's Take: When Sam is in, the Celtics ball movement comes to a halt. Maybe with time he could get into the flow of the Celtics offense, but it hasn't happened so far. Still, it is good to have him as insurance and he can make the big plays in crunch time. I wouldn't be against Rondo in crunch time either, though. PJ on the other hand, has had some very productive minutes and will be very good insurance and will help with certain matchups. Indy Star Celtics defense too much for Pacers Larry Brown Sports Benny the Bull holds grudges Oregon Live Rivers, Scott lead list of league's top coaches Enterprise Celtics keep the beat with win No. 60 Daily Herald Benny the Bull takes some heat from the Celtics FL's Take: I still think it was Benny and I think it was aimed at Posey on purpose. KG may have been collateral damage. As you can tell, the Bulls just hate Posey.
