Comments from the Other Side - Hawks Game 1

Here are comments found around the Hawks boards during their first playoff game with the Celtics. I love the props for our second unit after they were much maligned in the beginning of the season. The scary thing for the Hawks should be that the Celtics didn't really play their best either.

Looks like we are getting " Rally Towels" from the Home Depot. Remind me to go to Lowe's for the rest of my life. I wanted shirts.
I hope the Rally Towels aren't white. I hate being given a freaking white towel to wave just because it's a few cents cheaper per towel. Waving something white means surrender. Calling it a white out is marketing BS.
How nice would it be if the hawks win game 1 , I don't care if they lose the next 4 but winning the first game would be bittersweet.
I really hope they give Josh Smith a chance to guard KG. He's done great on him in the past when he was in Minnesota. For some reason Woodson has kept Horford on KG every time we play them, and Horford gets downright abused. You can't expect a rookie to guard one of the best big men of all time. Either way, I hope Smith gets a chance.
Tonight is the night we've been waiting for nine long years. It will be hard, we can lose by 20, 30... Or we can win.
We prob need this first game to pull an upset like the Warriors did.
I think if they can steal one in Boston, they are in great shape. I think they match up with them pretty well. The problem they may run into is losing focus. One hard foul by Boston and this could throw the team off the entire series. I really think the series is going to go 7 games with the HAWKS winning the series.......THERE I said it!
We have no pressure on us at all. If we want to win this game we cannot let Sam Casell go off again.
Hopefully Dwight called up Josh and gave him some pointers or I know atleast if Josh watched the game earlier, he's gonna be ready to go knowing that his homie dropped a double 20 and was victorious.
Let's go in there and steal Game one!

I cant stand Woody Josh Smith only has 2 fouls and he sits him for a whole quarter KG and Perkins was out there with 2 fouls
Our athleticism is giving Boston problems.
Bad 3rd quarter again... How ae we supposed to "shock the world" playing like that?
And it doesn't help that rondo is ballin, bibby looks like the rookie and rondo looks like the playoff grizzled veteran
When you've got Rajon Rondo and Sam Cassell beating ya, what else is there to say other than fuh'geddaboutit.
Rondo COMPLETELY out played Bibby tonight.
Rondo: 15 points, 9 assts. ZERO turnovers!

I think that Boston's second unit would beat our first unit in a best of seven
Well, their second unit is pretty damn good...
We had this game if Bibby, Smith, and Johnson had hit their shots and someone shuts down Cassell and Rondo a little.
It was total domination by the Celtics as this was easily the most lopsided game of the weekend as most expected. The Hawks played well to start the 2nd quarter....we really didn't make any other runs besides that which is pathetic in an NBA game.
They're not that bad...game 3 and 4 will be more exciting.
Your boy got out played by Rondo...and yeah...it's his first playoff game and he has 15 pts....9 assts and ZERO turnovers.
And we are running plays for Bibby....he's not executing and knocking down WIDE open shots.
Hey, Raptors fan here. I feel sorry you guys have to play such a dirty team that the Celtics are. Good luck, I hope you bounce back, everyone but the Celtic fanboys are rooting for you to win.
