Herald C's in a different league Doc: The future is now FL's Take: The Celtics do have some nice young players in Rondo, Perk, Powe, Baby and Pruitt. These kids are just going to keep getting better. Globe Celtics happy to frolic in field of dreams FL's Take: The Pierce and Garnett comedy show should go on tour after the season. I don't think I have ever looked forward to post game press conferences as much as I do this season. You just never know what they are going to come up with. A different viewpoint MetroWest Daily C's take care of business Celtics.com Post Ups Notebook: live game blog Celtics Blog 5 reasons to follow the run to the East playoffs LOY's Place Comments from the other side - Heat Celtics put Heat in the record books Celtics 17 Cakewalk NBA.com Celtics sweep of Heat first in 9 years Celtics 24/7 Celts tie defensive record in Miami blowout Red's Army Shift feet, score more FL's Take: Great work by the guys at Red's Army to come up with the photos to compare Pierce's stance at the free throw line to show how it has changed. Can't argue with success. SouthCoast Today KG for MVP not to be Patriot Ledger Pierce has eye on Kansas The big chill Courtside View Stars probably won't take a seat FL's Take: I usually take whatever Doc says with a grain of salt. I remember last season Doc saying that Powe had earned more minutes just before he was given fewer minutes. You take Doc speak with a grain of salt, although I do expect the starters to keep playing but just fewer minutes in most games. Shamrock Headband They were hitting everything Lex Nihil Novi Maravich always wanted to be a Celtic FL's Take: This has been a great series about a great player. Pete Maravich was one of the greats and the Celtics were fortunate to have him finish his career in Boston. I only wish he could have stuck with it one more season to get that elusive ring. Wicked Good Sports Celtics/Heat live game blog Leonpowe.org Leon leads Celtics past Heat FL's Take: Leon is making a good case for more minutes. This kid produces whether he gets 2 minutes or 20 minutes. It is no accident that Leon has gotten the "Tough Play of the Game" in each of the past 4 games. Worcester Telegram Mom critical of Pierce Celtics don’t break a sweat vs. Heat Connecticut Post Celtics advance to the next round Sports of Boston Powe powers Celtics over Heat Miami Herald Heat may undergo another roster shuffle FL's Take: The Heat are most obviously in tank mode. They have 7 key players sitting and the coach doesn't even show up for games. Where is all the outrage that the Celtics faced last season? The Celtics even brought Pierce back from the injury and he was playing at about 60% but he came back. And yet, everyone was up in arms about the Celtics tanking and the Heat are doing a very obvious tank job and no one seems to care. Heat sees positives in another loss Deseret Morning News Pruitt learning what it takes to be a pro FL's Take: Pruitt has impressed me in what little time I have seen him play. I think he is a nice young point guard and he has a nice shot. He will be the ideal back up to Rondo with a little more experience. He may even slide into the shooting guard spot when Ray retires. Green Bandwagon Meet the Celtics again: Ray Allen The Sports Beat Semester break for the Celtics Hoopsvibe Does KG deserve more MVP love? Philly Inquirer Making the case for most valuable Star Ledger Walsh would be crazy to land in Knicks loony bin FL's Take: Knicks loony bin is a very apt description. The league ought to step in and clean house and start all over again from the owners on down. Full Court Press The Good, the bad, and the really ugly, A Miami Heat experience Dime The G Code, interview with Delonte West FL's Take: I love Delonte. I wouldn't mind seeing him come back to Boston. Can you imagine the Big Baby, Delonte West comedy hour? I know Delonte is very happy in Cleveland. He had the top 2 plays of the night on NBA TV. #2 was a huge block (he had 3 in the game) and #1 was a great alley oop pass to Lebron for the dunk.
