Fiddlin' and Diddlin' - Daily Links 3/19 Wednesday, March 19, 2008 by FLCeltsFan 10:17 AM Herald C's put an end to itFL's Take: This was a gutty win for the Celtics. The Rockets had won 22 in a row and they can't use Yao being out as an excuse because the last 10 were without Yao. The Celtics were without Ray and so it balances out. The Celtics were on the second of back to back games and the starters had played big minutes the night before. They could have used those excuses but instead, came out strong and got a blowout. Can we stop seeing people talk about the big tests for the Celtics now and just admit this team is for real? Wolves owner: KG tanked itFL's Take: This is truly classless on the part of Glen Taylor. KG doesn't tank anything. It just isn't in his nature. Just sour grapes and excuses on the part of Taylor. I am truly sorry that Al Jefferson and Ryan Gomes are stuck in that franchise. Little love for Green FL's Take: Hopefully being cut by the Rockets and having to fight for a job will get his attention and he will finally put his work ethic where his talent is. Ex-Celtic Morey watches career RocketGlobe Breaking news: Celtics end itA tank shot is firedGuards handed out assists FL's Take: I think Sam Cassell is the best thing that could have happened to Rondo. I know that Doc was a point guard and has been mentoring him, but having a guy like Cassell who as been to the finals and has won rings on the court with him is just on another plane. The Rockets have the second best defense and are the top team in the West. These two teams have one thing in common. Tom Thibodeau. Thibodeau was the Rockets defensive coach and they have retained some of his defensive sets from last season. Of course, Thibodeau is the Celtics defensive coach this season.
