Adding Cassell can only help
FL's Take: Adding Cassell plugs the very last weakness on this team. I love Rajon's sense of humor. In an interview at last night's game he said that Sam needs to watch out in practice because he owes him one. I think Sam can help Rajon as a PG and will help Eddie House because he won't have to worry about playing the point and bringing the ball up and will be a more efficient shooter. He will help the team, especially against the Pistons where Chauncey would be a tough matchup for Rondo and a nightmare for House but not a problem for Cassell.
Garnett moving in the right direction
FL's Take: KG is getting back to normal and that is a good thing. Last night, he looked the best has since the injury.
No PJ just yet
FL's Take: I expect to see him get a few minutes against the Hawks on Sunday. With PJ and Cassell in the fold, I expect Pruitt, Pollard and Scal to take up residence on the inactive list.

Lue could be valuable
FL's Take: I really like Tyronn Lue. He is a defensive minded point guard and would make a good back up for Rondo. He would fit in here, especially since he and KG are very good friends. If for some bizarre reason Sam is claimed off waivers, I wouldn't hesitate to go after Lue.

FL's Take: Great video. My favorite part was Doc on the sidelines talking to KG who is pleading his case. Doc explains his reasoning and finishes by saying "You know I am right, but thank you anyway." And then they end up laughing. This is what makes Doc the right coach for this team. He knows how to deal with these guys and credit for this team's chemistry has to go in part to Doc.

FL's Take: Great article. I forgot about that quote from Chief. Very true. Perk has to pace himself as he was the only center big man on the team. Perk is also still playing with a sore shoulder that will hopefully heal before the playoffs and he will be even more effective. Great points. By the way, Lex Nihil Novi has become one of my favorite blogs. Quality posts every day.
