Here are comments from around the Sixers boards during their game with the Celtics.

The Celtics have handled us with ease this season and there's no reason to believe that'll stop here. I'm all for drinking the Kool-Aid and hoping our team will win this one but occasionally we need to sober up a bit and separate fact from fiction hence...

The Celtics are the best team in the league right now. Their interior defense is terrific. I think they beat us again they just have too many weapons right now against us. Next year with an extra year of development for Thad and another piece in free agency we should match up better against them.

I think what you see right now in the East is what the final standings will be...That being said I don't think it's such a bad thing because Philly probably matches up best with Detroit. There seems to be something missing with Detroit this year and I just don't fear them like previous years.

This is a game in which everyone expects the Sixers to lose, maybe even the Sixers ... So, maybe they fight just a little harder and stay in the game and then .... Who knows ... Maybe Pierce gets in foul trouble ... He is the only really game closer they have ... And the Sixers impose their will at the end and .... WIN !!!

You should see these guys on the Celtics pregame show. One is a complete jerk, and the other just doesn't know basketball.

Tanguay is just a flat out jerk, and it seems Marshall is just paid to be a uninformed huge, huge homer. Marshall said that Iguodala "can score with the best of them."

The Celtics are good enough to blow anyone out in a short period of time.

Sam Dalembert is dumb.

Cause I am watching Leon powe play like Kobe Bryant

Garnett is getting fired up now. Prepare for the cursing in front of children.

And who the hell is on Leon Powe?? I'm listening to the radio feed and all I hear is "Leon Powe!!"

I see Leon Powe with 12 points. I am surprised by that guy. He's been scoring a lot lately.

Pierce is starting to take his shots now. He is really the heart and soul of the Celtics. When they need a score, he will get it for them.

Do you guys mind if I just bash the Celtics for the rest of the game?
I hate this team so much.

I swear Pierce always kills us and yet we always leave him open. But that goal tend was hilarious, that's what you get for all your first pumping and swearing at children.

Once again the the 76ers can not stop the trays from Ricky Pierce nor can they stop Leon Powe.The 76ers are doing pretty good for a team that really does not have the talent to match up with Boston.

I would love to have Perkins as our center. He does all the little things and does not overestimate his own skil set.

Well, this is the formula for the Sixers beating the Celtics. The Celtics feel (and rightly so) that they have this game well in hand and can pull away anytime they please. Now, hang within 5 or 6 pts until the 5 minute mark ... Then turn it on ... Get hot ... And take the lead and leave them no time to recover. Simple !!!

Things might favor the Sixers now ... They seem to enjoy this type of game ... The only Celtic that thrives on this stuff is ... Paul Pierce ..
The rest of them wilt !

God their announcer tommy makes me want to shoot someone.

Am surprised the Pierce is not taking the shots. He is the only clutch player in the bunch. I have the feeling we are going to see a lot of Pierce in these last 3 minutes.

Well... Pierce's FT ended the 19-0 run we were on.

I don't get why they keep giving it to Garnett .... But it is all right with me. Keep it out of the hands of Pierce.

LOL Boston didn't score for 6 minutes.

Well, now the Sixers have beaten each of the top 4 teams in the East. That bodes well for the playoffs.

Pierce took 1 shot inside the 3 point line all game.

This is ridiculous...I know that this game may not have meant as much for the Celtics, and they just came off of an emotional roqad trip, but..

I guess Doc Rivers got out-coached tonight. Great coaching job by Mo Cheeks.

It feels even better knowing that they earned their place above .500 .... We shut down the best defensive team in the league in the 4th quarter in their house.

I think the Celtics (and pistons) are getting a bit bored with the regular season

Boston says we'll rest some of our starters and overtake them in the fourth only to see us get some stops....you don't score 19-0 run against the best defensive team in the league without getting some stops. .....our defense getting stops when we need them lately in the fourth quarters of all these games is pretty impressive.....

Great game, this was one of our best wins in the last 3 years.

The Pistons and Sixers have identical records over the last 27 games.

it's a nice day to be a Philly fan living in Boston..
