FL's Take: The Wolves have a future perennial all star in Al Jefferson. He is the real deal and will be for many years to come. Ryan Gomes is a very solid player. They have expiring contracts coming off the books after this season and also have quite a few draft picks. They have the potential of being a very, very good team in a year or two if they are patient. In the meantime, the Celtics have a 3-5 year window and need to win now.

FL's Take: Tony has been playing very well of late. He is getting his explosiveness back and that is good news. If only his ball handling was better.

FL's Take: I wouldn't mind seeing Gomes back in Boston. With all his family here, he would probably like to come back as well. But he has more opportunity to play in Minnesota and they might offer him more money but then again, he would have a better chance for a ring in Boston. He has a big choice to make after this season.

FL's Take: Not a surprise, KG has wanted to play in every game he has had to miss but I think he is realizing the seriousness of his injury and knows he needs to be 100% for his own good and the good of the team.

FL's Take: I have never seen worse officiating overall than we are seeing this season. They are just plain bad every night and in almost every game. With the scandal this summer I would think that they would be trying to redeem themselves by doing a good job but it just hasn't been the case this season.

FL's Take: February and March will be tough months for the Celtics. But, with a motivated and healthy KG coming back after the break and the bench coming into their own lately and with Rondo taking his game up a notch, the Celtics have a very good chance to roll right through it.
