FL's Take: The Celtics are wise not to take any chances with KG's health. If it was the playoffs, he would probably be playing but in February with the All Star game coming up, it is best not to take any chances. One thing I know, when he does get back, he is going to come back ready to play and I pity the person who gets in his way.

FL's Take: The Lakers have made themselves better offensively, but so far, they are not a defensive team. Defense is the name of the game in the playoffs and unless the Lakers somehow shore up their defense as well, they may be in trouble.

Celtics 17 Ray Allen belongs on that All Star Team
FL's Take: I agree that Ray belongs on the All Star team, but it may be best for Ray and for the Celtics if he isn't. He has acknowledged that his ankles have been bothering him and the rest may be the best thing for all involved. That being said, if KG can't play in the game because of the injury, Ray Allen is the most likely candidate to be named to replace him if they don't go by position.

FL's Take: People are finding out that the Celtics are more than just their three stars. With KG out and RA struggling with injuries or just plain struggling and Pierce has had some struggles as well, the rest of the team has stepped up their games. The bench is definitely coming into their own.

FL's Take: More of the overrated stuff. The Celtics need to do well on their upcoming road trips to put this talk to bed once and for all. I don't know if KG will be able to play on Sunday against the Spurs and that is one team that may be too tough inside without him. Although, they are struggling somewhat lately and Parker may still be out so anything is possible, even without KG.

FL's Take: Teams are looking toward the playoffs and filling holes and beefing up their rosters. The Celtics have a hole at back up point guard and Danny needs to fill it before the playoffs.
