FL's Take: The Celtics have won with defense to build the best record in the league and now they are getting caught up in the run and gun style of the Western teams. They are saying the right things and know what to do. Hopefully we will see them do it tonight and get back to playing some defense.

FL's Take: Making a big trade like this is risky. If it works out, the Cavs will be a tough team to beat in the playoffs. Rumors are that they want Cassell too. But the danger for them is that the chemistry won't be there, or that oft injured Delonte and Wally will continue to spend more time on the bench than in the game, or that Ben Wallace doesn't have much left to give. He certainly hasn't looked very good in Chicago.

FL's Take: This is another move that could be great or could backfire. Shaq has been slowing down and has been injury prone in recent years. If he can stay healthy and play well, the Suns are going to be hard to beat. If he is injured again, they are stuck with a big salary and gave away a very good player to get him.

FL's Take: Amen. Defense is going to win games and a championship. The Celtics had it, have gone away from it, and need to get it back.

FL's Take: Danny needs to do whatever he can to keep Tom Thibodeau in Boston. Without his defensive coaching, this team isn't near as good. We can see what has happened in the two games since the break. Even with all their firepower, the Celtics won't win by outscoring teams. They need that defensive intensity to win the championship and Tom Thibodeau gives us that.

FL's Take: You know, I really don't like the Spurs. I think it is because subconsciously I have blamed them for the Celtics hard times. We were supposed to get Duncan. That should have been the Celtics winning those championships. I also don't like the way they play. They are a dirty team and Bowen and Ginobili are the dirtiest.

FL's Take: Just because Danny didn't make a trade, it doesn't mean that he is done. There will be players waived and bought out. There will also be free agents. I am sure Danny has something in mind. But I agree that he has to be careful not to disrupt the chemistry that this team has built so far.
