Odds on KG's return 50-50
FL's Take: As much as I would like to have KG back, I would much rather have him healthy for the stretch run and don't want to hurry it. Err on the side of caution with this one. Chucky Atkins is sitting out with surgery for an abdominal injury. A strain could become a tear very easily. KG says he still has tightness. That may be from inactivity but then again it may still be a problem. I want to see him back, but only if he is 100% healthy with no chance of further injuring himself.

FL's Take: Ray Allen proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he belonged in this game. He should have been MVP but it is satisfying to know that he validated his selection.
It's Kidd stuff
FL's Take. We still face the Mavs one more time and if this trade goes down, they will be a significantly different team than they were the first time we met. On the other hand, this changes the Nets significantly as well and this changes our division although we only have one more matchup with the Nets on the final day of the regular season. As with any trades it will remain to be seen how they work out with chemistry and whether it makes them better, the same or worse.

FL's Take: It nearly never happened in several ways. He was snubbed by the coaches at first and then again and finally the third time he was chosen. Then, Doc almost didn't put him in the game. But I am very happy that Ray showed that he belonged there.

FL's Take: I liked a trade for Lue with the Hawks. Scal for Lue straight up works and the Celtics have been doing a great job of showcasing Scal by starting him and with all the talk of his intangibles. Sacramento may just want a veteran glue guy who does all those little things, especially since they maybe haven't watched him all that much.

FL's Take: I don't care for the thought of a team in Europe. They would have a lot of logistics to work out. They would have to shorten the season because travel back and forth would be tough and take longer. I like the preseason there and maybe an All Star game, but regular season games would be pretty hard to work out.
