KG to Miss Game Against Miami, Ray is Questionable

The AP is reporting that KG will miss his second game tonight against Miami in order to further rest the abdominal strain that kept him out in Orlando as well.
"He always wants to play, which is good," Celtics coach Doc Rivers said at the morning shootaround. "But he understands it's the right thing for the team." Hopefully we will see KG on the bench tonight instead of staying in the locker room. His presence on the bench can go a long way to encourage his teammates. No word as to whether he will be able to go against the Mavs on Thursday and I expect it to be a game day decision as this was.
"If he can play Thursday, we'll play him," Rivers said. "But again, it's got to be almost 100 percent. That's the way I look at those types of injuries." The Herald is reporting that Ray Allen missed this morning's shoot around with the flu (more than likely caught from Brian Scalabrine). His status will be a game time decision.
