Herald Just another game for KG FL's Take: Since there isn't anyone left on the Wolves that KG was close to, I don't think this game will be as emotional for KG as when they play in Minnesota. That will be emotional as being in the same building that he played in for so many years with the Minny fans there will bring back memories. This game, not so much. Jefferson's star rises in Minneapolis, Posey aims for Sunday FL's Take: Al is going to be an All Star for many years to come. I felt bad for Al when the trade went down. I think what I felt the worst about was that Al was going to have to play with Mark Blount again. I was happy to see Blount leave. Walker was always a good teammate and will be good for Al. I hope Al gets a good reception tonight because he loved Boston and loved being a Celtic. Globe It's reunion time tonight at the Garden All-Star Garnett people's choice Celtics sell rights to buy tickets to playoffs MetroWest Daily Familiar faces return tonight Celtics.com Making his point FL's Take: Great article on Rondo. When you consider how young he is and that this is just his second season and he spent his first season playing behind West and Bassy, Rondo is doing quite well. He is another player who is going to be an All Star. He still has struggles now and then, but he seems to grow with every game. When the article talked about his love of clothes and fashion sense, all I could think of was that commercial where Pierce comes in and pulls out Lucky's costume and says only a Rookie would wear something like this and Rondo comes in and says "Sweet." Puts a whole new spin on that commercial. I want them to do well. We drafted them and I put a lot of effort and emotion in their first few years as they were growing into their NBA bodies and roles. The Celtics had to make a decision between building around Pierce and the youth movement. They made the right choice, but I think we had some special players here in Boston. He will keep things light in the locker room and keep the team loose. Every team needs a player like that. First, it was the Celtics' lack of defense that lost the Toronto game. Perk is always willing to shoulder his share of the blame for a loss. Perk is right about the fact that he sets the tone early. It may not always show up in the stats, but his blocking out and setting picks is very important to the Celtics success. KG also took credit for the lack of defensive intensity. When the star steps up, it is hard for everyone else not to. The Celtics also missed Posey's defense off the bench. He brings a lot to this team and you notice it more when it isn't there than when it is. Perk is right about one thing. It is going to be a war tonight. The Wolves are coming in with the confidence of 2 quality wins and the Celtics better not take them for granted.
