Fiddlin' and Diddlin' - Daily Links Wednesday, January 16, 2008 by FLCeltsFan 9:25 AM Herald Rondo, C's think ahead FL's take: It is wise to sit Rondo now if he is hurting. Back and hamstring problems have a way of becoming chronic problems if not taken care of. We should b able to win games without Rondo in the lineup. Doc needs to give Pruitt a shot. House and Tony are not point guards and it shows when teams pressure them. Pruitt is a PG and giving him a shot can't be worse than having Tony run the offense. Knicks top Wizards FL's take: This seems like we have entered Bizarro world. The Celtics blown out by the Bobcats and losing back to back to the Wizards as they lose 3 of the last 4 games. In the meantime, Knicks blow out the Pistons by 29 points and then beat the Wizards. What is wrong with this picture? Scouting report: Blazers at Celtics FL's take: Blazers are a young and athletic team and have been tearing up the league. If the Celtics get back to playing like they did at the beginning of the year on both ends of the court, they would have no problem beating them. But, if they lack ball movement and keep switching on defense as they have been, the Blazers will win this one. It all comes down to execution. Also, the Celtics have been missing wide open shots they should make. Those shots will start falling again and that should help the offense along with getting back to moving the basketball. Pierce spills beans on his bundle of joy FL's take: Congrats to Paul and Julie. Paul's life is about to change dramatically. It will be interesting to see how it transfers to his attitude on the court. Globe Rondo's status: 50-50 Celtics.com Rondo sits out practice CelticsBlog Worst Celtic you have ever seen?
