I hope Kevin Garnett is okay, I've always been a fan of his, but I admit, I'll be happy if we get to play the Celtics without him.

#1 key to this game, imho, is getting Perkins in foul trouble early.
Perkins always does a good defensive job on Dwight.

Without KG and Perkins, they have absolutely noone to body up on Dwight

How do scrubs like Powe continue to turn BS flops into offensive fouls?

Garnett really IS the MVP. He had the foresight to sit out - being his team's best player - against the Orlando Magic. Doing so practically guarantees victory.

It's no wonder Boston leads the league in so many defensive categories. They're already getting the Spurs treatment from the refs.. They're free to bump/slap/hold and flop to their hearts content.

Must be nice being Paul Pierce, you know more leeway on defense by the refs but the benefit of calls on the offensive end.

I really can't believe we are losing to the Celtics without KG. It really is pathetic. We are losing to team with scalabrine in the starting lineup.

People should stop acting like the Celtics are a terrible team without KG. Yes, they're not nearly as good. But they still have two star players and a decent supporting cast. They're thin up front, but Dwight getting in foul trouble early didn't help.

Magic fans have some nerve acting like KG did after beating the 7-34 Timberwolves

When the Celtics, WITH KG, need a miracle to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, they lose all ability to mock other teams.

Count me as one of those guys impressed by the Celtics today, granted, lets be honest here, without the KG trade Boston wouldn't be 37-8, but that team without him is still a strong playoff team, those guys came to play, we were fortunate to win it. Rondo is gonna be a pain in the ass for many years to come. Nice game Celts fans.

KG may have been the difference, I can see why they feel that way on the Celts board. From what I gather Doc held him out of the game, and he was so pissed he didn't even come out to the bench.

Wow, the Celtics haven't played Dallas, Phoenix, San Antonio or the Hornets yet. Not trying to diss them or anything, but their record is going to plummet by the end of the season.

We can take the C's. Its the Pistons who would sweep us.

What can I say this win is what separates the Celtics from the Magic. Face it guys the Celtics just simply win the games they should........

To the Celt fans who demonstrate that special brand of classlessness which only they are capable. 3 corrupt refs=KG. Those free throws awarded to Rondo when he wasn't even shooting early in the fourth conjured up memories of when Red owned the refs in the old days.

I have to say, despite Garnett's absence, Celtics played really good defense on us.

Boston fans are hilarious. They have one of the consistenly worst teams in the NBA over the last decade, then they have one great season and they turn into the least classy, most obnoxious fans in the country.
So the next time a Celtic fan wants to troll, just remember that if this were a playoff series, we'd be halfway to sending you home. 2-1, baby!!

And LOL @ the Celtics fans complaining about the refs and calling us a "dirty" team.
Maybe if Boston wasn't full of a bunch of pussies and had crybaby children as fans, they'd win games like these. Go grab a tissue, losers.

How can a fan of a team with Garnett, Pierce, Rondo and Perkins call ANY players of other teams ugly? Unless, it's the Pistons and their gargoyle squad.

I don't care if KG played or not, the Magic won that's all that matters. They have lost these kinds of games before where a star player misses the game. So I don't feel bad for the Celtics.
