Wolves and Heat Swapping Ex-Celtics

ESPN is reporting that a deal is close that would send Antoine Walker to the Wolves in exchange for Ricky Davis and Mark Blount. My first thought on reading this was how happy I was for Big Al that he didn't have to play with Mark Blount any more.
This makes sense for the Heat because of how much Riley has come to dislike Antoine. He is getting a very good player in Ricky D, even though he tends to be a little bit of a head case at times. I can't wait for the news to come out that Shaq has decked Blount for sulking in practice.
Antoine will have to back up Big Al this time instead of the other way around when he was in his second stint in Boston. I wonder how that will play out. On another front, Al still hasn't signed that extension yet. Can't blame me for hoping. But the thought just struck me that maybe Al was holding out for Minny to dump Blount before signing the extension. I can hear his agent now... "Either Blount goes or Al doesn't sign."
