Celtics Make Offer to Mutombo

According to this report in the Houston Chronicle, the Celtics have made an offer of the veteran's minimum to Dikembe Mutombo. Since Houston has also made an offer of the veteran's minimum and it reports that there may be others looking at him too, Deke will have a decision to make. Will he go back to Houston or chase a ring with the Celtics?

Mutombo would be a great back up for Perk. He is 41, but is ageless. Last season he played in 75 games for the Rockets and averaged 3.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1 block in 17 minutes per game.
