Tony Allen Says He Will Be Back in November

In the Globe, Tony Allen says that he will be back in November:

Celtics guard Tony Allen said today he'll be back in November from the torn ACL in his left knee he suffered last season, but was non-committal about being ready for the start of the season. "For sure I know I'll be back in November," said Allen, when asked if he would be ready for the start of the season.

"It's coming along great," said Allen. "I'm running. I'm shooting jump shots, but I'm just taking it easy because some days it feels good and some days it feels bad. [There are] ups and downs. But for the most part I feel comfortable about getting back to where I need to be."

It will definitely be good news if Tony can come back and get close to the level that he was at last year before the injury. More than anything, his defense is going to be desperately needed.
