There are new reports on workouts scheduled in both the Herald and the Globe. In the Herald, Bulpett confirms that Noah and Brandon Wright will be coming in for a workout on Monday. Al Horford and Glenn Davis are scheduled for later in the week. Danny is planning a midweek trip to DC to watch Jeff Green's workout. Bulpett still seems to be leaving Noah out of the top 6 players being considered for the 5th pick. I am not sure why because I think Noah would be a good fit for our team. Brewer, Thornton, Wallace and Shabalkin will work out for the Celtics again tomorrow.
In the Globe, Shira tells us that the Celtics are doing things first class. Players wore practice jerseys with their names printed on the back, a switch from the standard issue workout shirts worn in the past. When asked why the change, coach Doc Rivers said, “I’m a big believer in trying to do everything as first class as possible. We have the fifth pick and there’s going to be a lot of players who come through this gym and that doesn’t mean we’re going to draft them and they’re going to be here this time. They may be free agents some day and like the way we do things and want to come back. It’s just all of our ideas.”
