Garnett Says "No" to Boston

After all the trade speculation and scenarios. After all the reports of back and forth offers between Boston and Minnesota, there is this. Garnett's agent says that KG made it clear to both the Celtics and the Timberwolves that he isn't interested in coming to Boston and would opt out of his contract after this season if sent to Boston. From ESPN:
Forget Boston, is the word from the star center.
Garnett's agent, Andy Miller, told ESPN.com's Chris Sheridan that Garnett made it known to the Wolves and Celtics late Wednesday that he had no interest in playing for Boston. The implication was clear: If Minnesota dealt him to Boston, Garnett would opt out of his contract next summer.
"The Boston trade isn't happening," Miller told Sheridan on Thursday. "If a trade were to happen, that's not a destination that we're interested in pursuing." Knowing this, Danny would be a complete moron to make a trade for Garnett that would in essence give us a one year rental on him in exchange for our future.
