Just a couple of things this morning. First the KG saga continues. Both the Herald and Chad Ford say that KG is backing off his no trade to Boston demands and that his agent is just posturing. I agree with the SouthCoast Today article that sometimes the best trades are the ones you don't make. I just don't want to give up Big Al for the next 10+ years to get an aging KG for 1 or 2. It just isn't worth it to me. I would much rather keep Al and take the 5th pick and continue to grow our own super stars.
There are articles about the Sixers and Hawks looking to make trades in the draft. Kirilenko is on the block also. There have to be more trades out there that won't cause us to gut the team and give up way too much of our future for a chance to win this year. Perk is a Beast nails it when they say that the Garnett deal points to panic and not patience. Danny has been preaching patience all these years and it would be a real shame to panic now.
