Blatt Update

Haaretz.com has this little paragraph about David Blatt today:
Blatt turns down Dynamo Moscow David Blatt has decided not to coach Dynamo Moscow next season. Blatt, who coaches Russia?s national basketball team, said that he received a ?very generous and serious? offer about a week ago, but ?Dynamo requested that I give it an answer as soon as possible, and their time frame didn?t work out for me, especially since I am still exploring other possibilities in Europe and across the Atlantic. ? ?(Eli Shvidler?) The Herald said that Ainge nixed talk of Blatt coming here. Maybe he just doesn't want word to get out before it is a done deal. I recall Ainge stating clearly that he was not going to trade Antoine Walker just days before he traded him to Dallas. And I was listening to Ainge on The Big Show the day of the Wally trade when he said that he had nothing serious in the works as far as a trade. Suffice it to say that I don't put much stock into what Danny says. He is the master of the smoke screen. It looks as though Blatt is narrowing his options in Europe and may still be a possibility for Boston. (Hat tip to Jeff on Celtics Blog.)
