Team Update for Buck's Game

Pierce and Big Al are definitely out for tonight's game as reported in the Boston Herald. Neither player made the trip to Milwaukee for tonight's game. Pierce will also miss Friday's game against Miami and Saturday's game at Indiana. Pierce still wants to play again this season, but with Dr. McKeon ruling out play this week, time is running out for him to make a come back. Pierce had an MRI done on his elbow but results have not been released as yet.
The Globe updates us on the status of Kevin Pinkney who has been called up from the Bakersfield Jam of the D-League. He arrived in Milwaukee around 11 pm last night and participated in this morning's shoot around. He sat out the first part of the shoot around waiting for approval from the league for his signing. Since we have 15 players on the roster, special permission was necessary to add a 16th player. Pinkney will be wearing number 51 for the Celtics. Danny said he has been watching him and if he plays well, it will be interesting to see if he is invited to play on our Summer League team.
