Pierce Done For The Season

The Celtics have been shying away from saying that Pierce is done for the season but the Herald Insider reports that he has likely played his last game for this season.
Rivers said he met with Pierce and Celtics executive director of basketball operations Danny Ainge shortly before his pregame meeting with the media and it was determined that Pierce was probably done.
“I think we’re going to shut Paul down the rest of the year,” he said.
Yesterday it was announced that Scalabrine wouldn't be back. Al and West are still day to day but with no practices and both still hurting, it seems less and less likely that either will be back. Although, it should come as no surprise that West is saying he is still hoping for a return.
