The injury bug hit the Celtics once again tonight. First, Ryan Gomes was having another good game when he came down on Shane Battier's foot and came up limping. On the next play, he once again came up limping as he was fouled. He shot the free throws and then went to the locker room. The report after the game was that he injured the middle of his foot more than his ankle. This doesn't sound good. They will take xrays of his foot tomorrow.

Then, Delonte caught an elbow from Mutombo above his eye and came away shaking his head. Not long after, he also went to the locker room and the report on him was that it was a concussion. He will spend the night in the hospital for observation.

Doc sat Al for most of the 4th quarter because he said his foot was hurting. They didn't specify if it was an injury from the game but just said that his foot was hurting. Hopefully it isn't anything serious. The one thing he doesn't need is a case of plantar fasciitis to match Perk's. Hopefully I will have more information to report in tomorrow's game report.
